Well, I do have an empty basement; I could either keep a crocodile down there, or cut a hole in the dining room floor to give my giraffe some neck room. This is a tough choice. I'll have the giraffe, thank you.

Some of my family are so argumentive that "starting" an argument is more like speeding it up, so sometimes yes :p

Nope I wouldn't try to find common ground in that situation especially at a rally, that brings out the diehards and most diehards aren't going to listen to other views.

I'd choose dog, they just seem like it would tate better.

Upper if I have the choice. We lived in an upper when I was a teen. Easier to heat as heat rises, and you get part of the lower flat's. When I was first married, we had a lower, and it stayed cold. :)

if the small town is provided with the archaic scene, i would certainly choose it.

I have lived all my life in Delhi, and have not seen much the life of a small town, so, maybe the city will be my choice (its not really a choice as I need to know small town too, to make a choice) :D But, there are times when I long to have a laid back life of a small town, going about doing my own thing at my own pace. :)

Yes (but a lot would depend on the particular hurt, the circumstances etc, but in general it's best to stay away from people who hurt you. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me)

Would you complain to the manager if the guy at the fast food restaurant was somewhat rude or would you just let it go and tell yourself to leave the poor guy alone --- afterall he's probably exhausted from mopping grease and washing tons of dishes, cleaning toilets and standing next to a hot grill all day.

Tell the manager, but not in a superior, stick-up-my-butt sort of way. They're his boss, he can ask what's up with the guy today and if everything's alright. If he was being a jerk, than the manager can stick him back to cleaning work instead of register.

So all my life I would walk backward to seak immortality. Then myself I'd lose in my quest. And after 100,000 years or more I'd regret what I have done wishing that time can go back to change my destiny. That's why, when I thought about it, I said NO.

Yes, I think I'd do just that, in fact I think this is what I'm doing, as I currently only leave the comforts of my room to do things I can't do in my room, which is basically everything except sleep, watch TV, use PC and sit and read etc. So all in all, I leave my room quite a lot... I guess it is all a matter of perspective

So far as fright is a normal thing in our lives, I thing, I'd not be ashamed to say yes.

Certainly. I have before and would again. It's something I just seem to do and never think about until later. I've stepped between others and Death on three ocassions at high risk to myself. No brag, I was shaking like a leaf when it was over. I never thought about it at the time. Someone was in deadly danger, that was all I needed to know.

Absolutely. Somehow, people have begun to see self-sacrifice for the safety of others as a bad thing... I just don't get it. And I'm with Pen. You go with your instinct, and as long as it works out dandy, we can all talk about it afterwards instead. Go ahead and chide me for it later. You're safe and that's that.
