my cats can sleep wherever they like and generally sleep on my pillow or at my feet.

For my dog, it is forbiden to him to even enter the house. His place is in the garden so he has to stick to it. My cat is free to sleep wherever she like. But she has a place in the kitchen where it is warm and peacfull. She likes that place and never came to sleep in bed with me except when watching TV. She is very cunning.
