I think its circumstancial. If there is a lecture/talking going on then yes. If you are just going about your work quietly and the music is at a level that isnt impacting others then I see no issue with it. Music is a stimulant on alot of levels.

Would you ever run into a burning building? (hopefully with purpose rather then just for kicks)

yes, I was one of the volunteers, I ate and conversed with both patrons and other volunteers
