I don't really like my history teacher this year :( (SSSSRRRRRREEEEEAAAAAMMMMMMM)
I miss mono!
Has anyone heard anything from him since he left?
wow you really do see stars if your head hurts enough
For those who care... I will be absenting myself for 2 1/2 weeks. I'll be in Madrid... anyone live there?
Maybe I'll post some pictures somewhere or something!
Will miss you all and I'm sure I'll have a lot of catching up to do on my return!
Much love!
It is only when we are humble, and humble is a very difficult plateau to reach, that we can finally see the realities of our human lives. Tragedy's job is to make us cry, tragedy's job is to clear the dirt and dust from our eyes so that we truly see. The smart one's among us never forget the sight but are enlightened.......
*another heavy sigh*
I am quite satisfied (not to use the word 'happy' which I dislike ;)) because the teacher who's been following me in my writing of my final paper repeated a few times that it was well done and well written, and that I managed to make a good job of using the sources and relating them to each other... :) I'm glad I did well... I think I want to write more essay kinda thingies...but now my studies are over...oops... Well if I start again I'll make sure to do it in a country were essay writing is contemplated not only as the final task...
I need to find some people that like to play D&D in my school or I will be terribly bored.
If cats always land on their feet and toast lands butter side down, what happens if I butter the back of a cat?
maybe it would fall on the butter then bounce onto its feet. or maybe it would die. lets find out...
Dragons cannot be created or destroyed, they just convert from one form to another, the so called law of conservation of dragons.
I bought a giant pez dispenser today, darth vader...all the IT guys wanted it, what power!!
that is so beautiful and true baddad. querida of course i care and have a great time you little traveller.
If you butter the back of a cat you'll most like spend three hours in surgery.
I bought a pez too but it was an elvis 'pezly' one and i totally regretted doing it. nothing against elvis (i just wanted some pezes) but people lost respect for me somehow, think i am one of those hokey people who make pilgrimages to graceland. so I will stick to a mars bar in the future.
But first you have to put them in a microwave oven to MELT the butter.Quote:

starr,
oh you must be the most daredevil person around. while i agree you should melt the butter first i have a feeling later on when you take a glass of cool water to quench your thirst from the effort you just might leak like the proverbial sieve.
go and ask my brother's cat, who fell on his face from the 3rd floor... :rolleyes:Quote:

suddenly itching eyes is usually a sign of a slight allergic reaction to:
dust mites. if you don't vacuum regularly those little critters multiply like crazy. or you are fatigued and are low in vitamin c. i take one thousand milligrams of it when my eyes itch and it goes away within half an hour. vitamin c which is used instead of antibiotics in Mount Sinai children's hospital for the most part(except deadly things of course) is used in large amounts as an anti biotic and to lower histamines which build up during an allergic reaction to something. but if you take large amounts to combat something it is a good idea to slowly lessen the amount until you take what you normally would or wouldn't. check with your doctor of course if you don't normally take vitamin c.
Rachel is showing signs of OCD:lol:
Oh wait, I see now it was in response to SubT's post...nevermind

I am not, I confess very good, rather slender witted in fact at figuring out what all you mean by these letters. For instance I confessed on the sleepy hollow live chat that until one of my family explained it to me I thought lol was something pirates said at one time and didn't know what it stood for.
Okay perhaps i will start a thread about how slender witted I am and I am JUST SURE i will have thousands of hits and at least four hundred replies by saturday. WHICH IS MORE THAN THE ZERO REPLIES I HAVE ON MY POOR JULIUS AND FRIENDS thread. Julius and friends is the most FUN online cartoon ever. And no one not one person has taken pity on me and actually logged on and watched the tiny little cartoons and then answered me as to which character he or she is like NOT ONE. It has shaken me to the core. I stay at home now and just peek thru the windows and wonder how many others don't want to do any fun things i suggest. It is totally sad and depressing.
"GOOD GRIEF!" POOR CHARLIE BROWN, MY SOUL MATE.
Rachel,
I think B-Mental's comment was made before he realised that you were responding to someone else's post. Sometimes on the net, it is difficult to express ourselves clearly and understand others' meanings without the luxury of audio-visual aids; not to mention the simple differences between our personalities and sense of humour. The fast developing internet lingo makes things even more complicated for us all. I am sure if he were here, B-Mental would apologise for the confusion and any upset he caused.
I am sorry that there has been no replies to the thread about "Julius and His Friends". Maybe providing the link for their site would help because other members may not be familiar with them.
thank you oh strawberry jam and toast woman so full of wisdom. Dearest people of the forum just give poor monkey julius one chance, and worry bear, and sheree l. bandit and .... //http:juliusandfriends.com/
I still don't understand whatOCD means. come on i can take it.
