Anglo-Saxons are calling my attention lately, maybe because I've been studying them at school http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/sc...one-s_head.gif Yeah, it must be so! http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/ok.gif

Good blue in the eyes and spacey background Bella
Lots of settlements Kyriakos. Cool.
This isn't a high res because I screwed up, but it is a black and white thing:

An intricate piece! What program did you use to do this, Mystyr? http://smiles.kolobok.us/artists/jus...C_thinking.gif
Thanks Max - the 'program' is called 'pen and ink and paper and by hand'. :)
Oh, good, it looks so "digital" that for a moment I thought it was digitally done :p
That's okay Max - it took a few nights to be that precise, so I'm glad that you compared me to a machine :)
This however did not take very long at all - I've rediscovered fingerpainting!

So you could rightly say it was done digitally
Nice work :)
This is an Aztec set:

I like that one Kyriakos - could you do sci fi sets? I'm thinking Warhammer like, though I don't know how much time it would take
Warhammer 40K? I dislike anything sci-fi apart maybe from some H.P.Lovecraft (which has little to do with sci-fi anyway). :)
You dislike sci fi? I hope that doesn't mean you've missed out on Dark Crusade and/or Soulstorm? They are both so good they are Art. (Fortunately they're still available, and play on modest systems, if you're ever in the mood - highly recommended). Keep up the good work in the meantime!
So you know I'm not the best artist, so no criticising. I've already criticised it a lot myself. Just thought I'd share with you my practice. I used Bamboo Wacom and Paint Tool Sai

You didn't say how much you liked my fingerpainting :(
That's good Beaut. (I gave up on Wacom, though is Bamboo the program not the tool?) It definitely looks like a depiction of a recognisable human face
Why do you preface with "you know I'm not the best artist'?
That's my criticism - all art is just doing the best you can do with the amount of time you have available, and the so-called 'great' artists are merely people who have decided to allow themselves to have that time - usually, but not necessarily, to the point they arrive at becoming professional.
Taking the case of Van Gogh say, he was a dedicated amateur who only sold one painting! And what bargains they would have been!
If you like something enough you'll find yourself the time - and remember, it's not about showing off as much as developing, one of the reasons that artists are rarely happy with their work: I'm never happy with anything I do, but why spoil the mood of the thread by saying 'here's something I've done, but these are the faults a1 - z26'?
Also nothing photographs properly - you can never get the sense of scale from a jpg, which is why I don't mention the dimensions, and regardless the impact is completely different - everything handpainted I've submitted I'm doubly/triply etc unhappy with, know I'll be unhappy beforehand, but do it anyway just because...
Keep doing it Beautifull (Promise me!) :)
Dunno much about art myself, but I feel this thread is Mystyrious n' Beautified, among other several qualities :)
