... and maybe by the time you get the 50 posts, we can convince you to vote for Norwegian Wood :p
I think I can safely say that anything by Murakami is going to be worth a read. :)
ooh, i am a huge fan of Banana. You guys should read hers stories. If you are a person thinking about the inside life , spirit... , you should read Kitchen , N.P, and her short stories.
I am not advertising her novels but really i am in love with her writings. I dont know much about the others JApanese writer ^ ^ (oh, i know Haruki Murakami ). So, you guys , i think if you are to know sth cool about one of the writers here, feel free to post ^ ^. We can have posts review some features of these Jap writers , right?
Has night voted yet???
Nope.
Have you voted yet? :D
Come on peeps..Norwegian Wood only has three more votes to win!
Hmm.. wonder if a sub chat could be started for those who wanted to read this?
I be new on this forum. I understand I can't vote here - that's okay, I don't really need/want to. But once the votes are in, can I still read participate in the discussions if I read the chosen novel? It sounds like fun, and I've never read any Japanese literature, so I am looking forward to it. (Forgive my newbie questions!)
Vote for Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami. It's supposed to be such an interesting book. :)
Really? I've read Kafka on the Shore and The wind up bird chronicle by Murakami and I preferred the latter. Kafka was very intriguing but it just lacked that certain something that kept my attention with The wind up bird chronicle.
I'll probably read Norwegian Wood anyway, since I managed to find it here.
Has anyone read Dance, dance, dance by Murakami?
