Oh, I have a version of that... I see letters and numbers, even words in colour. I never knew it was a condition, just that my mother and brother have the same; and I just realised that Vladimir Nabokov had this too. But all the other versions, sure I'd try that. I'd go for a walk with watercolours, and paint in the forest, I'd go to a cafe and tlak with strangers, and I'd go swimming in the sea.
What colour is 'C'?
-
Green comes to mind first, but, while thinking of it, I could almost imagine it as a deep blue, like . . . going back to my Crayola Crayon days . . . cerulean.
What instrument would you like to play fluently, other than the one you can already play (if applicable), if you had the chance?
-
Piano, for sure, I'd love to sit down and masterfully play whatever came to mind on such an impressive instrument.
Which author would you spend a night in a bar with?
-
Yikes, hard question! Either D.H. Lawrence, Ernest Hemingway (who I would try to out-drink on wine), or Fyodor Dostoevsky.
Same question.
-
Haha, although Hemingway did come to mind, I can't help but think that I'd want to talk with Joseph Heller, especially after a beer or two.
What is the silliest, yet enriching book you've read?
-
Anything by Ambrose Bierce, especially The Devil's Dictionary; The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde also comes to mind.
Same question; I feel you may have asked that question for a reason, Chava. ;)
-
Bleh, Catch-22... :) I can't help it, I love that book.
Which act in the circus are you?
-
Some sort of dare-devil act, such as the balancing-on-the-wire act, the lion tamer, or the jump-from-really-high person. :D
Free transportation provided, where would you travel right now?
-
I'm stumped, there are so many places, and I did recently get free transportation, and will be going to Paris. Maybe I'd go visit far-away friends.
Favourite mode of transportation?
-
By foot or bicycle for short distance. For long distance, if feasible, I love traveling by train.
Same question.
-
I'm just gonna sound like a copycat. Bike for short/medium distance, and I love long long train rides (hence Interrailing two summers in a row.)
Is the cup half full, or is it half empty?
-
Half-full - definitely a foolish optimist.
What household chore do you hate the most?
-
Sigh... Cooking, and eating, and cleaning after cooking.
Which five years of your life where the best?
-
Yikes, difficult question! Either my first 5 years (1-5), when everything seemed peaceful, provided, and with so much mystery; but I recall the ages 19-24 with a time of discovery, ambition, and hardships overcome.
Same question.
-
Yeah, 1-5, and I like to think the next five years are going to be awesome.
Who's wish would you grant?
