Children or animal noises?
Both: children in church & great-grandchildren when they're near (even when the dB level of our 3-year old reaches 130+) and animal/bird/river noises in nature all around me :)
Transform into an eagle or a kite (type with string attached/not the bird) ?
None. Rather into an sea gull.
Transform into a tardigrade if you had the power to or into a dragon?
Lol... maybe into an evolved tardigrade trying to perfect time travel, haplessly as yet, as in one of my short poetry arcs of the past. Dragons inevitably meet their demise sadly, unless they are plush or of the origami sort or imaginary.
Transform into a Blue Whale or a Megalodon ?
Lol!Neither, they are both too conspicuous.Rather into a hedgehog.
Win in the lottery or get an unexpected big sum of money?
:)
Toughie... all my (relatively) well off relatives have passed on so not likely to inherit anything, lol... but go with unexpected sum of money, like finding a one ton gold nugget that no one else can otherwise claim :) {spot price was $2801.00 USD/oz x 16 x 2000 = $89.632 million USD}
ice cream or frosted cake ?
Lol!
Both, but in̈ very measured quantity, as I have a talent for getting colds these days.
Fruit salad or tomato salad?
Both :)
Watercolors or oil paints used on paintings ?
Both! :)
Massive wood furniture or modern furniture made out of different materials?
MWF
Bottled water or filtered water ?
Filtered. Bottle water is expensive.
Paintings - landscapes or portraits?
Yes&Yes to bottled water.
Landscapes... have 4 within view
Easter or Christmas ?
that's a toughie tailor. from a kid with family, Christmas hands down. but the genesis of the former finds it fruition in the latter. they are inextricably linked, but because of the aforementioned fruition, slight lean towards easter.
although without Christmas, no easter. soooooooooo…
ack!
another attempt at nectarine vs watermelon.
Watermelon.
Stamp or coin collections?
Sounds familiar... nectarine.
Coins... although I cashed them in a while back as a necessity... now collect the odd change in a jar, but not really collecting other than the dollar coins. Used to collect stamps... gave my collection to my youngest brother... then inherited my Mother & Father's collection... so I guess I'm collecting stamp collection books.
Carrots or parsnips ?
Carrots.
Soup or Pizza on cold evenings?
Pizza any evening
Cream soup or green salad ?
:) Cream soup!
Fish or Chicken?
Chxn 24/7/365
Same question ?
?
Chicken.
Boots or shoes when working in the garden?
My shorthand for chicken: chxn (ch (don't care) n... I write it out so much. 24/7/365 is a commonly used shorthand for 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days a year (including leap year).. or always.
I rarely garden any more, maybe Bounty does, but I only wear shoes if I do.
Walk on the Moon or Mars ?
re: I gather from your explanation that you prefer chicken, but not (there is that n) every day.
None. I'd rather walk on Venus or Jupiter.
Travel to Europe or through USA?
Lol... every day is fine :)
Venus/Jupiter... quite exotic :)
Europe hands down :)
Be the lead character in your favorite soap opera or be yourself (assuming you're not currently a soap star) and have your favorite soap star be your BFF (Best Friend Forever) ?
Hmm Considering my advanced age I prefer to be myself and have a real BFF.
Live near Walmart or live near a park?
Advanced age, lol.
I live in the country, within walking distance of a section of the El Dorado National Forest, not that I ever do. I will drive to a nice park within the EDNF on occasion that's by a creek, and there are many parks within 10 miles (16 km) including the Gold Discovery site in Coloma and Henningsen Lotus Park - both on the South fork of the American River. Nearest Walmart is in the big city of Placerville about 23 miles (37 km) the way I must drive (through Coloma) to avoid debilitating driving anxiety... for most drivers it's only 13 miles (21 km) or so from my home. So park it is.
Have a photographic memory or read minds ?
The park must be wonderful. At one time I was very interested about the Gold Rush episode and I found a lot of supposedly contemporaneous texts in the net,but I think they have taken them all out by now.
Both, though my photographic isn't working so well any more.
Same question?
Would like to have had a photographic memory :)
breathing naturally in water or able to tolerate the vacuum of space ?
I am no swimmer, so I don't know how this vacuum works.
Gymnastics or Yoga?
Ah. I've thought of taking up yoga. A funny aside I saw on fb or the telly, can't remember which, women complaining about men taking yoga classes and having to follow them on sweaty yoga floor mats... some going so far as to no longer frequent yoga venues where men go, lol :)
Typing fast or elegant cursive writing ?
Lol. Women sweat also. I frequent fitness at the local YCMA and since pandemics the floor mats are rubbed with alcohol after every use.
None. Typing very slowly.
TV in the evenings or listening to music?
ah tailor, we might be on the same page now!
no more traditional tv for me, the high speed internet is expensive enough and im able to watch all sorts of things. often times the early evenings have lots of YouTube shorts and videos. I love music, but usually its "tv" (such that is it) over music. although, now that I say that, a lot of what I watch IS music----so how do I answer??
cranberry vs pear
re: Typing: sometimes I get up to 3-fingers in use :)
Me too re: TV - though I can find nearly all I want except live sports... I refuse to pay their exorbitant fees and my streaming on prime for sports is spotty at best with my internet provider. I watch a lot of vids on my laptop re: music but mostly stream through Amazon Prime though Ziggy/Echo/Alexa... Music throughout the day... telly in the evening and music videos too... and chess lessons, and gospel stuff, and... lots of news using all at my command.
Pear
Chocolate bars or gummy bears ?
I see you guys watch much more internet than I do. In the evening I watch soapies and news on TV, seldom sports.
Cranberry.
And chocolate bars. I have seen gummy bears somewhere, but they are not usual here.
cranberries or strawberries?
strawberries :)
strawberries or cherries ?
Sorry oversaw this
cherries
Eggs for breakfast or for lunch?
heck, last night I came upon a short that said something like "stop watching so many shorts and being so lazy."
danik, want me to send you some gummy bears?
consumer speaking, im a pretty good vegetarian so I don't buy eggs anymore, but sometimes I end up with them. as a kid they were a staple on weekends for breakfast, but now when I have them theyre usually for some other meal, sometimes lunch. they work really well with taco sauce as a sandwich. so id say, olden days, breakfast, nowadays, lunch.
plum vs grapefruit?
Thanks for returning the games to order. I forgot to answer some of them and thought it was taylor's turn.
Hope Spritzer and Poof are as well as can be expected.
Ěn US eggs have become so espensive that a Brazilian article compared the storing of eggs to the storing of toilet paper during pandemics.
plum
Passion fruit or avocado?.
PS - Hearty thanks, Bounty, but no, I'm not so fond of gummy bears and Brazilian post taxes are very high.
Eggs used to be an any meal item for me :)
Plum... grapefruit or its juice are a dangerous mix with my meds.
Avocado... until they become too expensive.
Turnips or beets ?
I should love to send you some hard boiled eggs, but have my doubts tif they would enter US.
Beets.
Broccoli or cauliflower?
Lol... thank you for the thought, I borrowed a dozen eggs just the other day :)
Love both... a slight edge to broccoli.
Broccoli or asparagus ?
