danik I spend a lot of time explaining to people that I don't have WhatsApp, that I cannot get/use WhatsApp, and then ultimately not being able to get into conversation with them because they wont get one of the messenger programs that I can use.
that's a fun one tailor. id have to say the first one because the second one, although still very interesting, seems a bit too limited or maybe even deterministic. its fun though to consider which mover or book itd be though.

I ceased explaining, bounty. If one doesn´t have WhatsApp in my city one gets isolated. I don´t use it for talking but for receiving and sending messages, usually of a comercial kind.

I'll go with superstitious too. Never tried the I Ching before... will check it out. Came across an auld Scots Gaelic charm the other day on fb; "Caim: Sanctuary; an invisible circle of protection, drawn around the body with the hand, to remind one of being safe, and loved, even in the darkest times."... looking for anything to augment my prayers to have a wonderful 2025... I've been using I Ching for years and it's like counseling with a wise friend. It's surprising how it hits the mark. On has to get used to it's very poetic language and it's symbols though. I use it in book format but one has it on line too.My favorite translators are Richard Wilhelm and Legge. I didn't include the links because they conduct directly to download. There is also the practical version of John Blofeld. All of them you find in English. It’s four minutes to midnight now.

some of my favorite academic memories are from reading papers at our little in-house paper symposium. maybe technically that's not a "speech" but I would still write down what I wanted to say and work from a written document.
I love both. slight leans towards "give a speech." probably not so much because I like performance, but rather because the opportunity for impact and interaction is slightly greater.

When I try to sleep I wear ear plugs and sometimes will listen to FM static or "brown noise" or "binaural beats"... but usually go for silence.

hmm, I would say slight lean towards the castle, especially if the weather is good. unless the house boat is on some really long river, then maybe slight lean towards the houseboat.

Usually eat PB out of the jar with a spoon; never had cream cheese with bread, but it sounds intriguing - a nice cheese fondue with French bread though... mmmmm... Going with cream cheese.
Macarena or Hokey Pokey ?
ive been playing a fruit tournament with tailor, danik, and apple vs papaya is the most recent entry in the competition. they keep appearing in various iterations because he either isn't seeing them, or otherwise keeps not jumping the order to answer it!
so I have to go again with apple vs papaya whatever number we're up to! laughs...
no experience with the macarena, but plenty with the hokey pokey and that was a fun time.

As for bread for breakfast there seam to be different habits, depending on the nationality. Brazilian standard breakfast consist of coffee with milk, bread and butter. If there is no time, they just gulp down a coffee. Eggs for breakfast are not so usual, they are served only in the better hotels with the continental breakfasts which includes cakes, fruit,yogurt and anything else one can imagine on a breakfast table.
