Britney or Christina?

Christina Aguilara sings some wickedly beautiful blues songs (Merry Xmas Baby) and her voice sends chills down the spine when she is doing it......Britney curdles my stomach.....
....But this is not the either or thread......
Who is your favorite living example of a hero/peace-prize contender?
I think I don't have any...
Does Gore Vidal count?
How is it feel to live in lat.51.7,long.114.13,1140m above sea level?
I have never lived nor visited that area, but maybe someday with time.
To the person below me: in what way do you usually release your anger, frustration, and/or melancholy?
I smoke like crazy with coffee or Coca cola in my hand
below: same question?
Usually listening to music, very loudly, from time to time beating the crap out of a wall if it's kinda big on the grrrr factor, reading fave fanfics.
same question
I used to punch things, however I stopped doing that because I broke 2 knuckles punching a brick wall whilst annoyed one time. Now I throw things at walls instead, or use my stress ball.
Hinty ;), someone forgot to ask a question :D
I've never broke a knuckle... yet, did a few soft tissue injury things to them a few times though

fave (ideal, perfect, dream...) vacation? (place, time, company... anything)
Hmmm, difficult to say, but probably a backpacking trip around Greece, and the area, possibly around the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World.
To the person below me: same question.
My ideal vacation would be sitting and relaxing in the sands of Tunisia. Also, it would be great to visit Carthage while Im there!
What is your favourite cartoon show and why?
'Mumindalen' it is so great because it's simple and funny and stupid and educational all at once. Also when I'm stressed out it calms me down to read the short 7 page books I own about them. ;)
Below: same question?
Simpsons. Just really makes me laugh.

Once upon a time, a looooong time ago, I first found the site looking for some of the works of Virginia Woolf, and, finding the site very helpful, I visited now and then to read more works by various authors and poets. By chance, I happened to discover the link 'Forums,' browsed around a few times, and loved it; firstly intending to, not only talk about literature, but share some poetry, I have yet to do it out of shyness.
To the person below me: if you summarized yourself in one poem or one song's lyrics, what would you choose, and why?
Hmmmm tough question mono....I'd have to say We Float by PJ Harvey. Why? Maybe because I think I take life just as it comes.
To the person below me: If you could have one talent what would it be and why?
Heh, that sounds like an Ungame question. Well, assuming this is a talent I definitely don't have, then I'd say..."the talent of conversing easily with strangers" to quote Mr Darcy...(well it was actually "I do not have the talent that some possess of conversing easily with strangers" or something close to that" but...)
Person below: same question please. Not feeling overly creative at the moment so...
to be able to draw good pictures and paintings, because it is a form of expression I would like to have.
below: have you heard of the show I said was my fave cartoon?
Nope, I've never heard of Mumindalen.
What, if any is your favorite comic strip?
Yikes, tough question; I love so many. My favorite would thrive somewhere in the labyrinth between Peanuts, Garfield and Friends, Family Circus, and Dilbert.
To the person below me: same question. :)
Bizarro was my fave, but since it has been retired I enjoy Non-sequitur.
Person below: Do you have suspicions about a conception you may have?(beginning to suspect maybe you are wrong, a.k.a, misconception?)
Oh yeah, lots.
Favourite month of the year? (and why if you have a reason)
Usually the one coming up next. Although at the moment, I'd say September is looking especially nice (no more nacky thesis! yes more family! yes more boy!)
How do you feel about slugs? :)
I dont think "they are the cutest creatures... ever!!!!! lololol!!!!!" but I don't mind holding them either...
What is the last book you left unfinished?
The cold six thousand by James Ellroy, the basic premise was ok, but the book did not move quickly enough for my liking. (attention span destroyed by television & rugby)
