this thread seems to have morphed into a focus group on the hotness (is this even a word?) of scarlett johansen...although i must say, she is gorgeous
Pah.....ye can keep your Scarlet Johansen, I'd rather Rachel McAdam or Elisa Cuthbert.

Which is we why I've become so obsessed with dancing bananas.

I watched "The King And I" It was very interesting and funny. I liked it a lot. I will give it 9/10.
I watched "Brokeback Mountain" today, I thought it was alright. Many people said they cried, feels like i'm the only one who didn't. Heath Ledger did a great job I reckon. I'd say 8/10.
"Wedding Crashers" Very cute, would recommend it!
The Proposition. The script and score is by one of my favourite songwriters, Nick Cave, and it's pretty much what I expected when I heard Nick Cave was writing an Australian western. Bloody, violent, dirty and yet somehow disturbingly poetic. As in his songs (and his to date only novel) he mixes in a lot of themes and images from others' works (the Bible, Darwin, "Heart Of Darkness", "Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid") and puts his own spin on it. Director John Hillcoat films it with all the grit and glare a movie taking place in the Australian outback needs, and there are some great performances too, especially in the supporting roles... if it wasn't for the fact that the story gets way too predictable towards the end, this could have been a masterpiece. As it is, it's still better than anything Nick has put out on record in the last 4-5 years. Rate it 4/5.
I watched An Unfinished Life a few days ago. I really liked it very much. I will give it 10/10. It was a very good movie with beautiful country-side scenes.
Today, I watched Venom. I liked it very much. I love horror movies and "Venom" was a perfect example of good scary movies.
I will give it 10/10. (I think that I am giving full marks to nearly every movie I watch lately. It shows that I am easy to please or am I watching good movies?)
Jackie Brown
8/10
I'm not a big Tarantino fan, but this one I liked. DeNiro continues to grow on me. There was also minimal gore, which is what I like least about Tarantino.
Can this forum still be obsessed with bananas?
I don't know if any of you all have heard of this, but I think it might be the greatest movie ever made.

The sad thing is that this is an actual movie.
Holy mother of my lack of God, you're right. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417148/ I've seen that poster around, but I was sure it was just a joke...Quote:
