Are they related to me, in such away that if I dont invite them it will offend them and I can never be quite rid of them? If that is the case then sadly yes, better the small headache then all out family war.

One time when I worked at the local bakery, I left my glasses at home because I thought that they looked geeky. A shy girl that I liked was standing at the counter a few feet away and she waved at me. Without my glasses I didn't see the wave, and I just stared at her. It wasn't until she left and my friend Brooke said "why didn't you wave back?" that I realized what I had done. *sigh* Things were awkward between us ever since.
