Sadly the Nonsense poetry thread, a new thread, nor my blog will allow posts as of earlier today saying banned. I've PM'd Logos and have not received a reply yet. I'm currently on my Kindle and it's a bit wonky to test... But I was pleasantly surprised that the Lol poetry thread worked and I was allowed to post :)

I'll respond to the Alphabet poem thread when I get back home on my laptop... Again my Kindle and cellphone are limited as you well know :)

Ok, tailor, there is no hurry at all. Seems you are selectively banned: Littnet doesn´t mind you writing in prose, neither you posting poems in certain threads, If you post nonsense poems in the lol thread it might be a solution, but you might get banned. When you have leisure and internet enough maybe you could try to post a nonsense poem on some old Litnet thread no one writes on anymore. If it works , it may become the new nonsense thread.

The Power of Music
A choir sang on a lofty landscape.
Suddenly someone cried out:
"There are snakes lots of them
tumbling down the rocks."

Quickly the snakes organized themselves
in a bunch
for listening to the music.

So the humans sang
the snakes listened
And
the course of history was altered.

I heard piglets pitter, patter,

their enterprise a joyful banter:

dinner fit for piggies,

and I smiled to myself over
their piggy innocence as I
casually banked behind a cloud
spying from up on high for
something a bit more boarish

Scenario

What can one do with a moat, a wizard, a changeling, a raven and a piccolo?
I will have to employ the service of the wizard,
to put a moat around a water castle, like the fortified ones
of Münster.
The changeling might be more difficult,
if the wizard himself weren´t one,
left as a child in said castle, with
the moat about it.
To find a raven is no problem,
if he agrees to be installed on the top of the castle, with
the moat about it.
Out of nowhere a youngster, full of
wanderlust ( but that´s from another list)
takes out his piccolo and starts to play.
Behold my emotion at seeing
the complete picture.

Now the story can begin.

Anxious furtive velvet antlers stir

an aromatic musk pervades
as a hidden automatic transfer case
allows Santa to smoothly shift

Sorry, tailor,I thought I had accepted the Challenge!

Controversial theme for me, took me some time.

Independence Day

I dream of a day
when my country will be
truly independent:
free of corruption,
of mismanagement,
of poverty, homelessness,illiteracy,
free from its colonial inheritance
free from debts
free from looking up at richer countries
free from its "street dog" complex
which celebrates the foreign but
despises all that is national
(excepting football and carnival).


If that day arrives,
one can allow for fireworks,
for inviting festoons
for inumerous little flags
in green, yellow and blue.
People will echange gifts.
The children will dance round D. Pedros statue,
who, awoken to life
will once more
rise his sword and proclaim:
"Independence or death".

Northpool is a graciously cheerful town
in a parallel dimension of little renown
with fantastic mermaids and dour mermen
who linger in its harbor again and again -
unless imposed upon with heavy snows
whereby they become the delirious foes
of Brobdingnagian winged sea butterflies
who terrorize all denizens of sea and skies
yet bother not the good Northpool townfolks
whom they consider their bosom birds 'n blokes
