Coffee from a coffeemaker or a French press?
I don't drink coffee, but I can at least say I like the smell of French vanilla coffee.
im rather a big fan of tea.
Hermione granger or katniss everdeen?
Hi, Bounty, was missing the Hispaniola in the daily display of avatars.
Katniss in the first film. (From the trailer, I didnīt see Hunger Games)
Long John Silver or Captain Hook?
Long John Silver by a league
Puppies or dogs (grown up puppies)
Both, but as I have to chose, puppies.
Cats or dogs?
cats
gold fish in bowls or caged birds or neither ?
.......
Neither. I like them free in their own environements.
Mamals or birds?
Neither, I'm a vegetarian.
Western horoscopes or Chinese horoscopes?
Both
......
Winter or summer?
Winter, by a league as someone recently said. Me not like the heat, and me likey the short days and curling up in front of my wood stove. Uh, with a fire in it, that is. The wood stove itself is nice, but it's ever nicer with a fire in it.
And I love birds, wild or the kind I used to own. ;-)
Anime or manga?
Both again.
And I like all kinds of animals.
Hot drinks or alcoholik drinks in winter?
Shark I think.
Eaten by a bear or pack of wolves?
Good choice. Komodo dragons bite you with saliva that gives you botulism and follow you around until you weaken and stumble (in intense agony). Then they rip you limb from limb.
A bear and hopefully a polar bear because you know they're having a hell of a time.
Eaten by ants or death from radiation poisoning?
Added: I'm amazed Danik hasn't said neither by now. :)
Radiation poisoning because I could choose to kill myself. If that's against the spirit of the question then I think it's still radiation poisoning. Slower, but I believe less gruesome, though I've never died from it or suffered from it. I would have more time to say goodbye to my friends and family as well.
Kombucha or Coconut oil, as a miracle cure all.
Coconut oil because: 1) it smells like the beach when I was 16 (or was that cocobutter?) and 2) I don't have the slightest idea what kombucha is. Is it coconut oil?
The beach when you were 16 or the woods when you were 10?
Get with the times.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kombucha
Anyway woods for sure. My grandparents lived off the grid on Lasqueti island (I grew up on Vancouver island, if you know anything about that area) and it's still my favourite place. I've ever exactly had a 'beach bod' either, or really liked parties/fun in general.
Staying up all night or just getting 1-3 hours of sleep?
Yeah, I was just in Olympic National Park in May. Gorgeous.
Yeah yeah, poor boy. You are unusually handsome and you know it so stop fishing for compliments.
And staying up all night. A few hours sleep just make me psychotic.
Going blind or paralysis from the waist down?
Well nice of you to say :3
And ugh, I guess... paralysis. Both are horrible but I can't imagine living without sight, and I think I could get used to paralysis.
Dodging the draft (and going to jail) of a war you consider either unnecessary or unjust or just fighting in it.
I'd go blind. There's always audiobooks.
As for the war, I'd go and you'd stay. But I was never in that position so who knows really? I never volunteered.
Being burnt alive for a deep personal conviction or accidentally falling into a giant meat grinder?
Meat grinder for sure. I'm very afraid of pain and I don't care much about people on earth benefiting from my convictions. I wouldn't burn to death for anything I believe under any circumstance if I could help it. I'd keep my mouth shut.
Edit: Actually I'll amend this. I'd burn to death before murdering a bunch of innocent people or something, but if I'm asked to put my signature on something that I know for sure is untrue, and the punishment for declining is being burnt alive? Yeh I'm signing whatever it is.
Same question.
If it was for my wife (that is, in her place) I'd burn. Otherwise I'd refuse to sign and take the Roman way out. Nobody's burning me if I have a choice.
Reincarnation or oblivion?
Ah it's hard to say, and I don't want to bind myself to one or the other by answering you in this thread. Right now I'm leaning towards oblivion but who knows how I'll feel later in life.
If Brexit happens will the EU survive or fall apart completely, and quite quickly?
No, I meant which would you want-- to return to a world of much pain and some joy (like ours) or just to be done? Can you answer that one?
If Britain goes, the Fourth Reich will fall in about a year.
We donīt know, so better not worry to much about it. As we say here: Regard as mended what canīt be mended anymore.
Letīs turn the question arround: Wonīt EU survive Brexit, if it happens, simply because it must?
Well that's what I meant! Right now I think I'm leaning towards just being done, but I have a lot of life to live so my views might change. Okay but my final answer is reincarnation because, even though I'm leaning towards oblivion right now, I'm still young and will probably change my mind.
Would you rather be the greatest writer of all time, but never remembered or recognized, or the worst hack but famous and wealthy.
Sounds like obfuscation to me, Danik. Which would you WANT?
(And was there a this or that in your own question?)
Okay Clopin.
I don't want to be famous and I only want to be rich enough not to worry about it. So I am forced to fall back on a Danikian neither. :)
Oh, um, same question (about fame and wealth).
Well I think I'll take the money, why not? Being the best writer but receiving no recognition would be pretty frustrating I shouldn't wonder.
Paperback or Hardcover?
I was just thinking about it, and I'll take money, too. I can always use it to perpetuate my anonymity.
Ebook or hardcover. Never paper if I can help it.
Corrective spelling or flying solo?
Well corrective spelling often turns my correct spelling into the wrong American spelling (tell me, how can you be centerally placed in regards to something?) but I'm also a pretty poor speller so I do make use of it. I have to use a mix but if I had to pick one it would be flying solo.
Sigmund Freud or Carl Jung (for whatever reason you like, enjoyment garnered from reading, your opinion on their psychological insight, etc).
Jung because he played the wise old humanist better.
Owning an iguana or owning a black widow spider?
(Gotta go, homie.)
Spider cause I can kill it off with less regret. I actually like iguanas but it's a big pet that I don't feel like owning.
(cya mate)
Chess or GO?
Chess ... never tried GO though
planes or trains ?
For the purposes of having tea? Probably trains, just 'cause you can sit in the diner car and cross your legs and nibble a biscuit. Now if you want to nibble a biscuit, with the gal in the next seat, that is, then a plane's your best bet, as you can slip into the cargo hold and do it on someone's Samsonite luggage while joining the Mile High Club.
Flowers that live after you bought them at Home Depot and planted them on your deck, or flowers that die? I might be asking this for a reason.
Living flowers always!
Flowers or chocolate?
chocolate... Rafferty's in Garden Valley
Seaside or mountain vistas ?
both are nice but im way partial to mountains. way back in the 80s I took a shot of the tetons that made its way onto the cover of the company I was working for at the time, pretty neat!
although, the sea and the mountains make great settings for adventure stories, a slight nod to the sea in that one.
clue or monopoly?
