Isn't that European clothing as well?
Isn't is supossed to have to do with the days when people had servants to dress them and where they stood in regard to gender? Something about it was easier for the buttons on a women's clothing to be on the opposite side so as not to interfer with the hairdresser?
I hope you don't find this too dark, Steph.

Has it really been nearly a month since anyone posted here? Why did this thread suddenly drop dead?
I don't know why the thread has gone sleepy. It could have been and maybe will be a thread where concise literary questions might be asked. I would encourage the moderators to include it in the main Forums presentation page so visitors or members might more easily get their query some satisfactory answer, if anyone here knows the answer. quasimodo1
Does it really matter?
There no rule that says it does, is there?
Does it have to?
No being the person who started the thread, I would hardly be the one to ask, what? http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l1...lies/cigar.gif

Do you think if some litnet celebrity posted here, this thread will become alive?
Well that depends, do you think a celebrity will?
Don't celebrities attract people?
Hey, Reader
yes but don' they have to post first to begin to attract? Should we mail someone fasmous, like Virgil or Pen?
Yeah :D . What else should we do -- make posters / banners with their pictures and post those in each thread? Will that work?
