yes covers can be better...
and shea they are when a new band re-does an original.
i especially love the everlast remake of George Michael's "Faith"
edit: duh, forgot a question...
what do you do to when you have lots to do but are really tired? how do you re-energize?
I take a shower, or go to a forum, or read a fluffy fanfic.
What's the longest you have ever procrastinated? How close were you to the deadline before you started working?
last semester i typed up speeches the morning they were due. that class was at 1 p.m. i did all the notes, rough outlines, etc. beforehand, just not the formal written stuff. i also never timed after the first one, just went around the house practicing, hoping i'd get all the info in the allotted time slot, and put in time with one person rehearsing a half hour before class started. they all went really well but the timing should have been better.
do you care if people like you or not?
*falling on the keyboard and my face, don't want to wake up with letters on my nose. :p g'night*
Aw, night night az. :D
Yes, big time. Refer to the major malfunctions -- I'm an impossible people pleaser.
In the summer, do you sacrifice the covers to stay cool or just crank the AC and pile on the quilts?
i sacrifice the covers because i have no AC. however i do have a little clip on fan that attaches to my headboard and i keep a plant misting water bottle on my nightstand and so i (we) stay cool enough to ...sleep.
do you ever go places where there is a crowd of people just to people watch?
LMAO. Subtle, VB. ;)
Oh, heavens no. But on the occasions that I find myself stuck amidst other members of my own species, I do enjoy the watching. For amusement and to pass the time and to keep my brain from screaming and exploding out of my ears and such.
Do you save nearly-empty boxes of cereal (less than a bowlful) on the offchance that you'll buy the same kind at a later date and use the rest of it? (I know, specific question, hey?)
Nope, if the box is nearly empty I get a bigger bowl.
Have you ever bought a product for the free stuff that come with it? (ie the toy in a box of cereal)
sadly, yes. But now I go for practicallity, if something free comes with it, that's a bonus.
Ever get dupped for ordering a free trial and then they nail ya?
(I'm still waiting for a refund of $300 from a health plan I never signed up for, all for trying a vitamin!   )
Yeah, only with me it was magazines. I got 4 free issues of "Revolver", and I even sent in the card that says I don't want anymore after the freebees, but they kept coming. So I kept reading them :p. Then they wanted like $30 for the subscription :mad::mad:
What's your favorite emoticon? I'm tied between  :p and    . Three in a row. Its better that way :D
:(
uhh... Would you rather go skiing or driving.
No, that sucks... OH!
Do you throw a piece of toilet paper into the bowl before going number two in order to prevent splash up?
At the moment I'm contemplating the probability that a certain member-in-absentia has found a new incarnation.
If you have, or once had, or were to have a dog/cat, do/would you brush their teeth?
Huh? I dont seem to understand... I saw something about Absore or some weird name in another thread. I have a dog, and we give him the dental cleansing biscuits.
What would you say to yourself ten years ago? Would you warn yourself? Give yourself winning lotto numbers?
if I met myself ten years ago as I am now, I wouldn't be here today because I would kill myself. probably.
