A few temporary pets. A family of Raccoons took up residence in the woods by our creek. My son had lured them in with dog food and bits of scrap food. They have since moved on.

All the pictures touch my heart, but I think I have a soft spot for the raccoon, Gilliatt. :) I thought maybe you took that picture.

Olga, I enjoyed the Purina All-Stars clips. It would be hard to claim a favorite there. Your little neighbor cat, so dignified and wary. Your heart goes out to them. Cats are often mistreated, far more so than dogs.
Claes, I think you've posted pics of that little guy before-what a huggable, loveable little hunk of fur he is.

Yes, a similar thing happened when the American grey squirrel was introduced into Europe where it has virtually wiped out the native red.
