I liked Lam's goal against Costa-Rica better. And Fernando torres' goal was great not because of the good strike, but because of the great combination

Man, I don't care who wins now, I am just excited Football is the center of attention now!
After watching Brasil last night, I am thinking the cup is up for grabs. No teams seems to have it all; it is very hard to predict the winner or claim that a certain team deserves to win it.
The way puyol set it up was fantastic, Kaka's goal was nice, but nothing to extraordinary I thought. Lahm's goal definitely was better. :)
I'll put my money on Oranje, but I'm just worried about the defense. That certainly is the weakest line in our team.
Being objective defense was always not the strongest dutch side. You guys, have a pretty young team, Van Basten wasn't afraid to bring a lot of new faces. I'm used to see Stam and Frank de Boer in the center of defense. I'll cheer for Holland- after all Van Basten was my first idol.Quote:

Germans, those lucky bastards :(
Man, the Brazilians really need to pull their socks up if they want to win the cup. Croatia should've scored about three times in that game.
The Netherlands is probably tightest team I've seen so far.
For Germany to win the world cup, they will need to get rid of Friedrich. He does not have a clue about how to play his role.
The number of times his lack of positional understanding cancelled out what should have been off-sides against Costa Rica was staggering and frankly unexcusable for a player at this level.
He could well cost them against better opposition.
**Also if only Koeman and De Boer were still playing the Dutch would walk this**
Koeman, De Boer. It would also be nice to have Gullit, Rijkaard and van Basten. And let's say Neeskens and Cruyff :DQuote:

All I have to say at this point though is that Poland was beaten not by German players but by a papal blessing that forced the loss (a friend's joke).
germany-poland game was also funny because both german strikers are at least partly polish- Klose and Podolski
I can do without Gullit, and we already have van Basten! :DQuote:
