same question?
A bad wind last wintersnow and rooftops flying off and children flying around, but I don't think anybody died but it was no fun!
How are you today?
I have a slight sore throat. Otherwise I'm fine. How are you?
What is the nicest thing anyone has done for you?
A stranger told me I had gum on my butt ( had sat in it) minutes before I went up on stage in front of thousands of people.
What is the meanest thing someone has done to you?
I have a feeling you'd say that AP :)Quote:

Floating around on a prison ship..... or possibly....My thoughts are misguided and a little naive I twitch and i salivate like with myxomatosis ...... or .....Cracked eggs, dead birds scream as they fight for life.
Here, here....
The meanist thing???
Pretend that he didn't know me
What's the nicest thing someone ever done to you?
I don't see anything wrong with an atheist saying "God" as an exclamation or emphasiser once in a while. I do so myself, sometimes. But on the internet I usually twist it: "Thank Dog for that!" ;)Quote:

The nicest thing? That's hard...very hard. Lots of people have done very nice things for me and if I had the chance I'd thank them all for it. But right now I'm thinking about my violin teacher...he burned me a copy of a Ginette Neveu CD that's very hard to find...he's so nice.
What's your favourite daydream?

Thank Ford for that...
daydream of sitting on mountain top with joseph campbell, listening to him talk and talk and talk, sun shining, nice breeze, maybe a cold beer and some shrimp
To the person below moi, which politician/leader of a nation do you admire, if any?
Erm...I cannot really say that I admire any political or national leader. I hardly follow politics, finding the topic very volatile.
Under me: what did you last dream about? (seemingly fragmented nonsense is perfectly fine)
I had a relatively long dream last night. At night I wandered into someone's home - someone I knew I knew, but do not know in actual life. The house had no light, entirely dark, except one room I entered, which seemed cluttered with a wooden workbench with tools, a locked door leading elsewhere, a clean, small, and very round bathtub containing no water, and a dim light.
After that, I left the room, into what seemed a living room; a middle-aged woman of African descent slept peacefully on a couch, and I proceeded down hard, wooden stairs to a very dark hallway with multiple doors leading into other rooms. I heard yelling in one of the rooms, but I did not know which, and I thought I recognized the voice as the person I allegedly knew. Before I found the door, for which I searched, the dream ended.
To the person below me: same question.
That sure is a good question!
Last night, I dreamed I was at a Suzuki workshop somewhere that had a beach with palmtrees...possibly Hawaii, I can't tell you that. Anyway, in the morning, they had cello tutorials. Now, I don't play the cello, but if I could play another instrument along with violin and piano, I'd like to learn it. So I thought, now's my chance. The tutorial was on the beach. There was this large group of cellists sitting on stools in the sand, their cellos between their legs. A teacher I know was going to give the tutorial. I was talking to this little boy, could have been one of the ones that goes to orchestra on Saturdays, and then I decided I wouldn't try the cello that morning anyway. Apparently they went for a swim in the ocean after the lesson, which seemed necessary, and I didn't want to be all wet and sandy for my violin tutorials in the afternoon, so I just watched.
To the person below me: the same question again.
I dreamt my brother's wife had made two beautiful necklaces for me (she just told me that she is attending a jewellery design workshop... which explains a lot) and I remember really liking them. It is interesting as I very rarely wear any jewellery.
Which book/s are you reading at the moment?
The Spice Garden by Michael Vatikiotis....strange book...i think it's about some psycological element in humans... A normally peiceful island society composed of muslims and christians goes berserk. From living together in harmony without considering religion, suddenly the place is split up and everyone is killing eachother. the author is really graphic and detailed about the massacre... strange book...
Apart from that i'm reading "science of discworld" by Terry Pratchett and co, aaaand.... Biography of the prophet mohammad by Karen Atwood....
What do you consider to be the most significant happening in your life?
Birth
What is your favourite poem?
Today my favorite poem is "The ballad of Reading gaol" by Oscar Wilde. It feels so good to read out loud.
What is your favorite sentence?
Very difficult question, but the first sentence that comes to mind: "cogito ergo sum" - from Rene Descartes' Meditations.
To the person below me: what word do you use most?
just one: sky!
to person below me: who's ur favrit writer?
Umberto Eco
what do you usually eat for breakfast?
That is so weird. I was just thinking of replying to ldarkangel's question with the same answer as Monica!!
I have a latte for breakfast, sometimes with a hazelnut flavouring.
What are you going to do for a holiday this year?
Repaint the cottage and chop wood. Try to get the lawn to grow grass instead of moss. I also hope to visit a friend in Moscow.
Any tips for sightseeing in Moscow? ( I think I now how to get rid off the moss, but IŽll take any helpful advice on that subject as well)
Moscow University! It has 600 and something buildings. The campus is more than 250 hectars and on "Lenin Hills" ( I think that's the name), there is a HUGE skyscraper, I don't know the name of it, but you'll see it right away. It's absolutely not necessary to speak Russian, there are people from every country you could think of with a translator at your disposal.
Moss? I have moss on my house, the outside walls, too much rain here. Mold is a big issue too, second only to England, I think, but don't quote me. Use sand in your yard in the spring mixed with lime. Moss is high in cellulose, so anything that kills cellulose would be brilliant. Babble babble babble.
What's the strangest thing anyone has said to you lately?
oh, i have a good one. A guy told me I should hang out with skippy because he was a better man than himself. I still don't know what that means due to the turn of events the relationship eventually took.
Why don't people do what I tell them to do? Don't they realize they would be better off?
Don't look at me!! I have already seen the light and follow your words to the letter!
What has been the hight point of your day today?
Beating my roomate at pool - 5 games to nil. (low point was a very nasty, unfair, horrible Toxicology final :rage: :rage: :rage: )
Do you play pool?
No, I don't.
One thing you are hoping to achieve/get done today?
I'm hoping to get through my dinner date without any akward moments.
What's the last thing you laughed at/about?
My neighbour, who is quite elderly, rolled off her bed this morning and couldn't get up. (that isn't the part where I laughed)
She called me to come over and help and I was worried, thinking stroke or broken hip. When I got there, she'd fallen onto her shag carpet and her earring had hooked into the rug, she couldn't undo it, so she was stuck. It took me a while to stop laughing with her. She's all of 4' 10", and she makes me laugh every time I talk to her.
To person below, same question.
Sex. I'm always laughing about sex. Its such a funny subject.
Think of the most embarrassing thing you have ever said. Now you don't have to tell me what it was. Just let me know: who did you say it to? and what was their reaction?
I should not type what I said, but this occurred while in high school. I stood in front of a whole class, giving a presentation, and an acquaintance of mine mentioned something very embarrassing about me, regarding a recent event, and I could not but assent without words. My acquaintance, whom I had never liked, to tell honestly, reacted with his usual devilish smile, and the whole class, including my instructor, laughed for several minutes, and throughout the class time. Needless to say, they taunted me about it throughout the school year.
To the person below me: if you could change one event in the past, what would you choose, and why?
Ewww, so many...I'm going to answer this as if it was a personal directive, 'cause otherwise I'd want to change so many more, Holocaust, Rwanda, Soviet anything...
I would never have gotten married. Not that I'm not IN LOVe :ladysman: (that's supposed to be just one chick) but I don't see the need to marry. I like solitude, always have, and I married too young and he's too fast and his bike takes up too much room and he snores and he doesn't eat anything other than meat and potatoes and and and and and big breath ...well, you get it. I wish I'd married someone who worked up north and came home every four weeks.
pssst...don't tell him I said this, will you
To the person below, have you ever had a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich a la Elvis Presley?
no. is it good?
to the person below me what makes you happy in life?
Books. I don't go anywhere without one, thanks to watching my mother carry one around at all times. Maybe not books as much as reading. If I don't have something to read, even at the breakfast table, I'll read the cereal box. Which is not a good idea if you wonder what goes into your body.
To the person below, what would be the worst torture you could imagine? You can use mythological ones if you prefer, I'll allow it, it's okay, don't be scared.
Locked in solitary confinement for long periods of time.
What are you doing this weekend?
Not a lot, actually, besides the usual tasks: studying for school, doing some leisure writing (hopefully finishing the play, at last), possibly spending some time with a good friend, who would fit in nicely here, named Wes, and spending more time with Psyche.
Oh yes, and I must do laundry!
To the person below me: what board game do you enjoy most?
Scrabbles
What shall I have for breakfast?
Oh, I'll give you a choice. (Preferably sweet) Bread with mashed banana or cereal or perhaps - I've got it - pancakes! *Sighs longingly* I wish I was you! :D
What's your favourite dream? (As in, dream for the future, conscious dream, daydream...whichever you choose...)
Peach and bacon.
Do you consider offering a seat in public transport to a female or helping her with her coat sexual harassment?
No.
Forget about the two-replies thing, I'll just post my question again...
What's your favourite dream? (As in, dream for the future, conscious dream, daydream...whichever you choose...)
I love the dreams in which i fly..... i have very realistic flying dreams, i always have had, where i can feel all my muscles working this way and tat to fly... very convincing, i have more than once jumped of a roof, just to check it wasn't just a dream.... it was...
Flying is just falling and forgetting to hit the ground, at least acording to Douglas Adams... :)
Who are you thinking about right now?
In reference to your dream, Chava, it sounds much like the phenomena of 'lucid dreaming,' which involves having knowledge of dreaming while dreaming. To answer your question, I thought of Edgar Allan Poe, his poem, "A Dream Within A Dream" - good one!
To the person below me: who did you last speak to, whether face-to-face, or on the telephone?
a friend, about math homework.
do you like toe socks?
