I don't think we officially met. I just read your profile and see we both like antiquing and gardening, although my pathetic garden is in dire need of weeding now...I let it go a few years. Nice photo, too. I posted one earlier in the "Lit Net photoalbum" thread.
My first Haiku, I was thinking of the pretty soft gray doves that frequent my roof. They are so sweet and affectionate. I saw them mentioned as a question on a quiz game the other night, the answer being "turtle dove".
Second Haiku was due to reading about D.H.Lawrence and how he felt man is fused with nature. Funny how your mind works and it comes out in your writing unconsciously.
