Would you compromise your beliefs to save another person?
Compromise? Perhaps. Postpone or set aside? Definitely. Toss out like yesterday's recycling? Never.

Insulate it, Set up tons of shelves, a good light, and a sofa that was majestically comfortable, then fill it with books. Mmm.
When, would you, go native?
As in conforming to things, like measurement systems? We already use the metric system in medicine, so that one would come relatively quickly; the kilometer system would take some time; the Celsius thing would not fly.
When would you?
I go native the minute I arrive somewhere, foods, water, toilet customs, you name it. I'm a travelling chameleon.
Would you join me under a blue umbrella, with stars, painted on the underside?

All of them! Arabic is number one on my list of languages to learn though.
Would you consider your passport one of your most valuable posessions?

Would you say that Denmark has fjords, or does only Norway have them?
sure. I am privileged to have a U.S. passport (as a naturalized citizen) and be able to travel to many places without a visa, or easily get a visa... With a Bosnian passport people are virtually immobile... need a visa for everywhere, it is expensive, and a lot of the time you can be denied.
Would you consider yourself extremely privileged?
(I am too slow) and Chava can answer your Q, mono... :D
I am privileged beyond belief!
Too slow: I live by a Fjord you silly boy. Can't you feel the Fjord mind?
Would you visit the land of the midnight sun?
I would not mind visiting it, sure, in the only land with fjords. ;)
Would you (and could you) survive healthily in a land so far north or south that it had 24 hours of sun or darkness?
I would definitely have to adjust, but I can survive anywhere...(you just have to change the expectation of your mind)
Would you leave your current country of residence if you found love in another?
sure. I am quite the romantic... Love is hard to come by. But I love moving around anyway.
Same question.
Yes, I would...especially since where I live is so culturally young...
Would you try to walk on water just to see if you could...even though you were sure that you couldn't?
Yeah, the laws of physics might have been suspended in that area.
Would you steal your neighbors newspaper if you were sure no one would see you?
