Mostly the author, to be honest! I quite often judge books by their authors...whom I in turn judge by their books. It's a vicious circle, I think.

there should be...I think the main cause of my bad hearing is because I either daydream alot, or I'm not focused in my environs...which is all the time...I think the root cause is our reluctance to actually listen
why does my teddy bear seem to act like a human?
Your teddy bear acts like a human only after midnight, for the duration of one hour. So be extra cuddly and nice to it.

Probably because there is a nation wide shortage of biscuit's, due to the severely increased demand arising from a person who consumes large quantities of the product.
