Hi everybody,
I am a toddler in the vast world of literature.
Im Allen from Toledo, OH and have been a Joycean for over 35 years. Ive studied, on scholarship, at Univ College, Dublin, as well. I am currently reading Dante's The Divine Comedy and loving it. I cannot wait to go to Florence lol! I also am very well read and knowledgable about Faulkner. My Secret Pleasure is Crime Fiction!
Hi there
I'm currently reading The Adventures of Roderick Random by Smollett.
English isn't my native language so feel free to correct me.

Intriguing forum name, central european perhaps. Welcome to LitNet!
Hello,
I am Richard, nice to be here. Hope to learn ad contribute to this learning forum.
Richard.
Hello, all. I wanted to take a moment to stop in to say hello before I start posting. I'm Nash and I'm a high school English teacher in Tucson, AZ, USA. I hope to be able to gain some valuable insight to readings as well as provide feedback to this well connected and diverse environment.
Welcome all to LitNet! I hope you'll like the forum. I,m looking forward to your contributions. :)
Hello everyone !
Hi :) I'm (obviously) new here and excited to get to know this community in a better way.
I'll be posting around so I don't think there's a need to describe myself here. I just hope to find interesting discussion topics and of course, new friends!.
I'm a native spanish speaker and know how hard it can be to find people who speak the language in most forums so don't hesutate to talk to me if you want to :)
Welcome. Even as a native Spanish-speaker your English is excellent!
Welcome, Anne Elliot. There are some good discussions of Jane Austen here, who given your name I imagine you admire.
I am unfailingly impressed by the number of posters whose first language is not English.
Hi all, brand, spanking, new! :)
Thought I'd drop on in and introduce myself. I'm a kiwi (New Zealander) for those who are unfamiliar with the term 'Kiwi' and try to associate me with the fruit, I may be fruity but I'm not bonkers yet! lol
I love to read, write, draw, create, spend time with my kids - (Sometimes) hey they are teenagers, what's to like? lol
I've got one book published and another on the way, well when I finish the second one, when I say it's on the way it is, though time frame wise, I never said in what year that would be? lol
I don't like winter (Go away winter) I love summer (Bring it on)
Well that's about it for now, much more to say, of course. But I'd like to keep part of me a mystery, ha ha ha
Its the bird, the kiwi, not fruit, native to NZ. I am sure you as a NZer know that. But perhaps some readers don't.
You get sarcasm right? I'd have thought it came through clearly that I was referring to the fruit known as the kiwi-fruit. Not the bird. To indicate that I'm a bit on the fruity side.....guess my sarcasm slid off and I wasn't as funny as I thought LOL Oh well, nice to meet you to.
