Compliments to the participants of the last few pages. I read them all - some great stuff here (love the moon ones) and some really funny haiku, too...like the dancing section so much. I love those dancing bananas within the haiku's. You two were really on the same train of though. The other ones I liked were the heartbreak ones and they felt like therapy. How funny, I need therapy this time of year!
Will leave next haiku to next poster... see my last post for last line.

Haunts my hearts of hearts
That beauty who took my soul
Whose kiss killed my pride
-
Whose kiss killed my pride
Whose love thrilled me to the bone
Carved stark naked stone
-
Carved stark naked stone
stoic, cold and loose-jagged
clefts in solid earth.
-
clefts in solid earth
are similar to the cleft
I had after birth.
-
I had after birth,
Remembrance of a past life
Primal and wondress
-
Primal and wondrous
The soft shore lies welcoming;
Sweet land to be raped.
-
Sweet land to be raped
Flowers, leaves in the garden.
So soft, now so strange...
-
So soft, now so strange,
That fine skin beneath her breast,
Pearl warm as feathers.
-
Pearl warm as feathers
They all want it crucified
Buried deep in sea.
-
Buried deep in sea
Seal, not in death, but in pain
Dark oblivion
-
Dark oblivion
inky black water laps at
my face, pale and cold
-
my face, pale and cold
sharp needles; ice penetrates -
winter blasts blow harsh
-
winter blasts blow harsh
but light gleams brightly from the
stores, houses, and trees
-
Stores, houses, and trees
Illuminated streets glow
Christmas shines anew!
