Amen, tailor! He never leads us astray.
Esther's prompt word this week is "cards": https://estherchilton.co.uk/2025/09/...cription_popup
A Useless Whine
The front end doesn't work today.
The rear end doesn't either.
The middle's not an end at all,
no matter where the wild cards fall,
so nothing now works neither
(except my mouth).
I hate when that happens to my car... enjoyed :)
reading the tarot 9.24.2025
today's tarot card has been disclosed
the Four of Wands, reversed for Scorpio:
assess and prioritize - finding joy in the moment
let creativity, though challenging, shine

Ta ! (short for tarradiddle),
tailor
Enjoyed the tarot poem.
Thank you :)

Thank you, tailor. May we find joy in the moment.
Esther Chilton offers "club" for this week's prompt: https://estherchilton.co.uk/2025/10/...cription_popup
I used to think
a club would do,
but love does more
and blesses, too.
Wonderful tiny poem :)

Congratulations, tailor! (and blessings to Sofia Marie, assuming I understood the word "pudding" correctly)
Esther Chilton offers "shade" for this week's Writing Prompt: https://estherchilton.co.uk/2025/10/...cription_popup
We wouldn't be here
were there not more
than shades for eyes
than earth or skies.
Behold the opened door.
:)
Enjoyed your poem :)
Beneath the Eucalyptus Tree
There once was a man quite staid
Sought a wife, so he ardently prayed
She soon came to his attention
Then married, then contention
As for family - received only shade

upon a filament too fine to see

Ta ! (short for tarradiddle),

Poor guy under that Eucalyptus tree, Tailor. It is surprising to see a spider without noticing the web.
Esther Chilton offers "money" for this week's Writing Prompt: https://estherchilton.co.uk/2025/10/...cription_popup
The money saved deflates away.
The gold though doesn't care.
The silver, too,
like morning dew,
is true, but gone somewhere.
Thanx... enjoyed your offering :)
A Stiff Named Murray
Murray never lacked for money/cash
or credit which made him quite brash
nevertheless he rarely paid a bill
even diner-dashing for a thrill
you see cashiers gave him a rash

Nice description of that stiff Murray.
Esther Chilton offers "leaves" or "leave" for this week's Writing Prompt: https://estherchilton.co.uk/2025/10/...ng-prompts-88/
The leaves fall gently to the ground.
There is no wind to rush around.
When next spring comes then fresh leaves soar
to sing a song of love once more.
Enjoyed :)
~~~folderol fall~~~
wet oak leaves
acorns too abound
fodder for deer
I like the thought that those acorns are a fall harvest for the deer, Tailor.
Esther Chilton offers "edge" for this week's Writing Prompt: https://estherchilton.co.uk/2025/10/29/word-prompts/
My mind would wander to the edge
of what it understands
then turn around without a sound
forget where it had once been bound
to wander safer lands.
