Goodnight and Goodluck. I think I liked this movie. It's the story Eof dward R Morrow taking on Sen. McCarthy. The part that bothers me was that they showed it from the reporters point of view, we saw the interactions between the reporters but the McCarthy footage was actual news reel, nothing from Mccarthy's point of viewwas shown. hmmm... Am I making sense? This is why I'm not a writer. I still give it 8/10.
Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I *ADORE* this movie, and I adore JD as well!
Perhaps the best single movie I've seen in years.
Countess Lumpa
McCarthy's only POV was self-aggrandizement through lies, half-truths, exaggerations, and fear-mongering. When this backfired and stopped making him look good, he shut up.Quote:

nah, it's a remake, but very good! I enjoyed it too. The original was such a classic, that I wasn't sure I wanted to see the new one, but it felt more like the new one sort of honored the old one. I honestly don't know why Gene Wilder was so upset about it.Quote:

I will have to give it 8/10
It is quite enjoyment.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Amazingly, 9/10.
I still haven't read the books, and had I read this one, I'm sure my rating would be lower. But standing alone as a movie, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Definitely not something I would show to a small child, though!
I can't wait to see it. :mad:Quote:

Harry Potter 4 was the last movie I have seen. I was suprised that they took out so many subplots but it worked for me. Still, not as good as the book, but frankly, i've seen so many poor adaptations of books(see any of Steven Kings books to movies) that it really isn't surprising.
7/10
Jarhead - I thought it was OK, but being a vet of that war, the most accurate lines of the movie were about the war moving so fast and the one about never getting to shoot even once before the war was over. 6/10 It didn't make anystatements and was lacking substance.
April snow, a korean film, I like the main actor PYJ
But some parts are re-edited by the film manage department.
