For me it is all about the formation. If Capello contines to :beatdeadhorse5: with Heskey and the rigid 4-4-2 with Gerrard on the left then I can see Slovenia's bus in defence holding out easily. If not, and Capello does what everyone wants, then I think we can do it, 2-0.

At a minimum I think that game is too risky to bet. So I'm going to go with just these two:

USA to win ~ 25 Twains

Germany to win ~ 25 Twains

My bets:

USA 20 to win
Serbia 15 to win
Germany 25 to win

and finally we come to England, the most shockingly bad team all tournament who dont look capable of scoring in 90 hours let alone minutes, look for them to score a few today and beat Slovenia. 10 rabbie burns.

Well I'm going for England. Don Fabio will make the Slovenians an offer they can't refuse, Rooney will be on fire after Vuvuzela therapy - he'll be blasting from outside the box, Lampard and Gerard will combine elaborately, and David James will play an athletic blinder.

I'm going home early to watch and compose a triumphalist tract, or a lamentation.

I agree. Go Slovenia..........(I have them in the seepstake so am staying away from the big screen we're having put up here, as I could get lynched :D!). Seriously though, they do it every time. Overpaid, over-hyped, and a load of primadonnas. Where's their passion? Oh, hang on, they'll still get their huge amounts of wonga whether they win or not :rolleyes:. They ought to be ashamed of themselves, particularly Rooney with his pop at the fans. They've paid huge amounts to follow them to South Africa, but it's all a days pay to him. Wassock!
