Phone... already 5-unsolicited calls... the first one at 6:37 am PDT... considering letting the bunny out again.
Is this all the doing of Sir T or P? Where do you usually keep the bunny?
Quiet and sad- a house without animals.
Thumper/Bumper is in a cage in the bedroom and gets let out a few times a day to romp around; a larger cage is being made. Rosie (3-year old kitty) is fascinated by him, but Taffy Doodles could care less.
Reflective
Lol!She probably thinks its some exotic cat.I still don´t understand how the bunny's damaging the line affects calls coming from outside. Here it might at it´s worst mute my own line.
Stupid question?
No, no. When we finally picked up the hand sets the phone readout read "No Line". Since my wife discovered the severed cord I'm assuming it was the cord from the Verizon box to the handset system.
Tactful, tallish, and techy
Uneasy political situation (just for a change)

zucchini... prolly one of the few Californians who has never tried to grow zucchini, mostly because those who do grow it have an over abundance and share readily. Love it deep fried, baked, sliced, diced, mixed in with other dishes...
Abobrinha=zucchini in Portuguese. One of my favorite vegetables. We usually have it cooked by itself or mixed with other vegetables.

Very nice. I have a spirographic pattern on paper souvenir from the Seattle Worlds Fair (1962) which is a type of Guilloché according to wiki.
Hankies... I used to rate a day by how many hankies I had to use in a day: a 1-hanky day was a good day.
Lol!Don´t know if it works with paper hankies

Congratulations!
Robbery... attempted anyway. 2 of the 3 homes on the property have pry bar marks on doors and 1-was entered (sister-in-law's). Nothing seems missing. My home was left alone (I was the only one home... sleeping).
Sorry to hear that! You were lucky! How´s your security (police, security equipment´s and devices, etc.)?
Speeding! Still have to print doc before going to USP (Printer not working).
Back later!
Locks good... now better and security being beefed up. Sheriff dropped by after phone report.
Thrifty
Unbelievable! A real sheriff! I thought they existed only in films. Here in SP a vital element of security are the cameras which focus on the interior and the part of the street in front of the buildings. Almost all buildings have them. And many of us live in skyscrapers for security.
Verily... we'll soon have enough cameras with full res to see when the gnats start to swarm if my daughter has her way.
With her, she´s got children in the house
Xenial: (revisited)... so few x-words
The zebra of the football lottery announcing the result of the games in the programm Fantástico (back in the 80ies).
Note on Brazilian slang: a zebra is an unexpected result.

Didn't quite understand... matrix: 3-columns X 13 rows (or more): Wins/Losses/Ties ? Do the teams have their own unique numbers on the matrix ?
Yard... was given a wood-chipper to help clean up the acreage. Just need to troubleshoot the engine a bit; it's a Craftsman so it shouldn't be too difficult.
Sorry forgot "Y" and jumped to "z".
Each row represented one weekend game. First column= victory of team one; second column=tie; third column=victory of the second team; unexpected result= zebra. But you are right. If I remember rightly one had the names of the games filled out on ones ticked. As the reporter is already reading out the name of the games the zebra´s table is simplified.

Used to prefer Crush orange drink in the 70-80ies to Fanta which outdid it.
