tailor---I think this is a thing, a "big year" is when the folks who identify birds have a huge nationwide contest (maybe worldwide even) to see who can identify the most in a year. theres a really enjoyable book by a guy, Mark Obmascik, who chronicled his adventure. I just discovered its a movie too but wasn't well received.
