so whats going on eh? the captain said to the clown
well, sounds like a pie in the face won't be adequate any more.
thats ok, you can man the oars.
Reasons Why I Love Sunshine
1 There is no snow to shovel
2 I dont need to wear ten sweaters to go outside
3 People slow down and take life easier
4 I can shoot hoops in the driveway with my friends
5 Barbequeues
6 Ice-Cream
I hate Clear Channel. They are *roars* the reason that all of the crappy
a*%ed music always plays.
Hear! hear! Mr. bongbong! Very well said!
Thanks. I did some searching because I was tired of hearing the same song on every station.
Look for college radio, one of the handful of independent stations out there, or be old like me and play vinyl!
thanks for the tip. I will.
Clearchannel is the devil.
OK OK OK, so I was just out on my front porch enjoying a frosty adult beverage, when Lance Armstrong pedals by.
Go figure
That's weird.
It's true, it's true.
He's riding in the Tour of Georgia today. I'm sitting there looking for the US Postal Service Team Jerseys and my neighbor informs me that he's now riding for Discovery Team.
Ah well, it was really cool.

There is a girl in New York City
Who calls herself the human trampoline
And sometimes when I’m falling, flying
Or tumbling in turmoil I say
Oh, so this is what she means

Sometimes "whore" can be metaphorical.

Sancho, do you live inside the perimeter, or outside?
Hey Basil,
I live well outside of the perimeter.
In one of those suburban-hell-urban-sprawl neighborhoods. Yuk.
Anyhow, I’ve been looking for a fixer-upper in the city
Yeah, from what I understand even the fixer-uppers are kinda pricey!
Boy I’ll tell ya… Atlanta is funny though, some of the least desirable places, ten years ago, are now some of the most sought after neighborhoods in town. Mid-town, College Park, even East Point is up and coming. I think that people here are just getting fed up with the commute and all of the carnage on the hiways. So even with the Fulton County “sir-charge” (higher taxes), it’d be nice to be able to park the car and walk to work.
I *know* I shouldn't think that's so funny. I've very slow to say any person deserves a cruel joke, but that person might have been close.
I don't suppose she'll have learned a lesson...
*wanders off snickering*
... kind of makes you feel good about yourself, doesn't it?
i need to surround myself with people that stupid, just as a self-esteem booster.
i have to wonder if the other person was faking it. It would make much more sense.
Stupidity that complete seems ... too frightening to contemplate.
:) *wishes for bright sunshiny emoticon* thank goodness the sun came out! yesterday reminded me of winter. :( now to dry the towel on the radiator. naughty, naughty leaking window.
now to continue both reading a brilliant play and packing. lotsa fun, wanna help? i've tea and cookies.
I'll take some tea and cookies!
What needs packing?
Change is sad.
yes it is. so much is changing this month...
um, all of my belongings need packing, but fortunately the place is furnished, and since leaving n. cal i haven't bought a new bed, table etc. but the books! the clothes! the bric-a-brac! (oh the bric-a-brac!) the kitchen necessities. that sort of thing. tons of papery stuff i can't seem to part with.
oh, yes. the air conditioner will be heavy the ironing board bulky, as well as the iron-trellised plant stand...the silliest article is, of course, the sewing machine that a good friend gave me. i haven't threaded a bobbin in almost 30 years.
i will! be excited to move once again in three months; am going to search out places in the art museum area.
what kind of tea? green (from japan), loose black (from the mediterannean store around the corner), or herbal? and here are vanilla sandwich cremes. :) as well as loads of jelly beans and twizzlers.
Unless we're talking change for buying a pack of gum with a $100 bill.
I am very tired, maybe because I couldn't sleep last night. well who cares I can sleep in tomorrow.
