No sense of ha ha is a good reason for doing one's self in. Where is your question?
I wouldn't fake my own death, it would be too cruel. Would you pull a stunt like that, one that could hurt your loved ones, if you would be paid $1 million (like on that show My Big Fat Fiance or whatever it was)?
no I wouldn't. We had a show like that in holland. It was called masterplan. At the start of the show three people could win 1 million guilders (about 500.000 dollars). at the beginning of the show they signed a contract and after that they had no saying in their own life and had to listen and do everything the "master"said for 3 months. During the show they staged someone's death to see the reaction of his family. after this episode was on there was such a row about this in holland that the show got cancelled. i think rightly so, how far can you go with television. but for my own question: If you could live in the future for one day (say in 2099) but at the end of the day you would die, would you do it?
Certainly not. Earth in the year 2099 could be a horrible dystopia. I would not sell my life for a glance in the future, that could be horrible.
Would you false testimony to save a person who you love? Or just a friend?
I guess I probably would. depends on the situation really, but your best friends are worth going to jail for.
If, on election day, you had to choose between two people who are both equally unfit to govern your country, would you stil vote and, if yes, why?
Yes I would vote. I would either pick the lesser of two evils or I would ruin the ballot by voting for both. I always vote, so many people can't do it. Plus it's like somebody asking my opinion I never pass up the opportunity.
If you could go back and change one thing about your life, would you?
 isn't this exactly what voting is about??? choosing the smallest evil?Quote:

Or, on second thoughts, maybe I'd change my teenage years and I'd go out and do like other teenagers do instead of withdrawing from social life...
Edit: I realised this is not the question games but the would you game so my question doesn't really work...
Would you refuse to buy one thing because it's advertised by a famous person you hate? (I did once, there was this magazine with stuff about my fav. band but I hated the dj who advertised it so I didnt buy it....I'm still regretting it...:D)
i would be sorely tempted but probably wouldnt, just because i would be afraid of how it would change how and where i am now. i am truly happy in my situation (if it werent for financial difficulties of course) but i think if i had changed something then, i wouldnt be who i am now, which has led to the situation im in.
would you ever pierce your privates?
I think you skipped my question mum... :(
No, I'd never pierce anywhere except my ears.
Would you kill yourself cos you can't stand the hot weather (or the cold weather, if you're one of those who love sweating to death)?
(silly question but that's how I feel now :D)
Um, no, that is just a silly reason to die.
Would you move to change climates?
Yes. Definitely. Been planning to do that for ages. I once dreamed of move every summer to Argentina so to get the winter there... And I've just spent 3 weeks in England and one of the purposes of that was avoiding the dreadful heat... But it's not over yet :(
As my mind is too lazy to find a new question (see afew posts above), I'll re-post the unanswered stupid one:
Would you refuse to buy one thing because it's advertised by a famous person you hate?
awww....sorry koa. you are totally right.
*mental note: refresh refresh refresh*
no prob... i have complexes of feeling ignored sometimes ;)
Yes, I hate those 'Old Navy' commercials.Quote:

and suddenly they all stopped replying. I guess it depends. If it would be for personal use I would but if it's not solely for personal use I would not.
If you could be god (or any other higher being you believe in) for a day, what would be the first thing you changed?
I would remove a good deal of hatred.
Now, if you were given a choice - you would write heartbreakingly beautiful and sad poetry and your name would be remebered forever, but you wouldn't live to old age and you would go insane and paranoid in the end of your life and destroy your creation and think you were the king of Poland, would you accept the choice?
yes, definitely. there's a jiddisch saying: Even one hour in paradise is worth the effort.
if you had to choose between releasing a book you really think is your best work, or a book of which you know it will bring you fame and fortune forever, which would you choose?
definitely best work, although ideally your best work would be the one that would bring fortune (i dont aspire to be wealthy, but i would like to be able to pay my bills and buy lots of plants)
would you ever give up civilization to squat on a piece of wilderness property?
Sure, but I don't think I'd stay forever.
Just long enough to get my fill of quiet.
Would you give up your lotto winnings to help the poor?
How about half?
The whole - I don't think so (unless the poor person of whom we are speaking about is me ;) )
The half - it depends. If the rest of it is big enough that I could live comfortably or be happy with it, then sure.
But I would give a share of it, yes (unless it is like 10.00)
Would you accept a chance if you were offered that you could time-travel, but would arrive in the body of a seven-year-old you in the time and place where you were being at when you were seven? You would lose about one quarter of what you know due to frictions and stuff.
no, there's a song in holland called "zo mooi wordt het nooit meer" by a dutch singer called harrie Jekkers. The song is about the question what you would do if, after your death, god would ask you whether you wanted to live your life again. and at the end of the song he sings that he wouldn't do that because it wouldn't be as beautiful as the first time it happened. i think he's right about that.
if you found the cure for aids, would you give it freely to the third world countries or would you charge them for it?
Give it freely
Do you trust third world travelling?
What the hell? Off course I do.
Would you be supportive if your dad wanted to become a woman?
Yes, it's his body and my mother and father have slept in seperate rooms for 20+ years now anyway.
Would you make everyone the same race if you had the power to do so?
no no and no...variety is the spice of life. what would we learn about accepting differences and compassion and fairness and justice if we were all the same?
would you ever want to NOT share a bed with your partner in a marriage?
I can't imagine not waking up next to my husbands smile, ever.
Would you move your child out of a culture filled neighborhood to a rich one to give them a better education?
i dont think so, i think the education one would get in a culturally diverse area may be a more valuable one. in fact i moved from a wealthy (ish) area (that i could barely afford) to a more culturally diverse city (that i can also barely afford) and find that my son is enjoying it far more. i think i would rather his education encompass both life matters AND academics.
would you ever bungee jump?
yes
Choose, one of these will be destroyed. What's more important:
the life of one 40 year old man
the Mona Lisa
The life of a 40 year old man. The value of human life is more precious than any material item.
Would you dance in the rain if you knew no one was watching?
i would dance in the rain even if i KNEW someone was watching...
are you afraid of being laughed at?
Hmm, it is both yes and no. I am not panically fobic of it and I sometimes act in a way that may cause that people would laugh at me, but I do not like it much so sometimes I do not take the risk.
If offered a choice, would you became immortal? So that you could never die. You wouldn't age either.
no, because then you would outlive everyone and I couldn't deal with that. the beauty of life is that it has an end. I don't mean that to sound as if i'm very depressed. what i mean is that the beauty of some things is that it is dangerous. for instance, the thrill you get when bungyjumping or skydiving, is because of the danger. if you couldn't die there would be no thrill in that, would it.
If you were talking of immortality of the human race as a whole, i wouldn't like that either because i believe that society would be much worse with more wars and fighting. and other problems like shortage of food and over population.
if you had proof of extra terrestial life would you make it public with the risk of being mocked?
Yes, being mocked doesn't scare me.
Heh, I have redirected it and used it to my advantage more than once.
I'm a debate team nightmare.
As far as ET's go, I think they never visit because humans are so sexually aventurous. They are afraid of date rape. ( my view only.)
This question is for those who aren't in Medical school.
If you came into a pile of money, would you quit everything and go to medical school
then dedicate the rest of your life in an impoverished counrty healing people for free?
I sometimes think I would, and sometimes think I wouldn't.
actually no, i'd never go to medical school because there's nothing (not even maths!!!) that bores me more than medecine/biology... i also find it impossible to understand - luckily there are people that are passionate for that otherwise there'd be no doctors in the world which might be a problem...
would you like to be enormously famous, or would you prefer to have a normally private life?
I really don't think that the two are opposites. I think it is possible to be enormously famous and still lead a normal private life, eg. Bono. however, if i had to choose between the two it would be a normal private life.
Would you be willing to die for your country, even if you didn't agree with what they were fighting for?
No!!!
Would you like to be young forever?
No. Youth has it's value, but I want to grow older and retire so I can have the time to read, and learn to knit and all those things.
Would you steal from your company if you knew no one would ever find out?
GROSS!
oh, i mean no.
would you sacrifice your safety to run into a burning building for a loved one?
I hope I would.
would you move to a different continent and leave all your family and friends, work and hobbies behind to stay with someone you've only known for a few months but are really crazy about
