kik's a total crack up. One of the few people here who has the ability to make me genuiniely laugh out loud. Him and fool.

fool's funny and intelligent, If he went to the same school as me, I'd have someone else with which to undermine the teachers. ;) and skip study hall.

I really don't have the energy right now to type out all that this requires.. I can think of another fifteen or so forumers to analyse.... and typing ain't my thing. [aware of irony of saying this with my post count]

koa is so like me it's frightening. We have WAAYYYY too many similarities, everything from screaming from our cultural mentailities to starsign. oh wait! that's an insult!! she's an incredibly friendly open person. and tries to be evil, just to pretend she's less vulnerable than she really is

azmuse is really smart, I picture her sitting in front of a keyboard just gotten home from work, the sort of person you could say anything to.

I picture Fool as the teenager that I wish I was. The one who says "It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of me, AND MEANS IT!" I remember one day when he just did whatever he felt like and went to the principles office like 3 times or somthing. The stuff he did that day, was awsome.

Lara strikes me as a very inquisitive and curious person. She's very likeable and gentle mannered, and she's got an aura of politeness around her (way more than the usual standard of the forum). In short, a wonderful aquisition for the forums.

Isagel is an art lover. She digs books, but her passion for art doesn't stop there. She's intrigued by music, painting, poetry and dancing, among other things. I picture her as a blonde lady who always manages to say the right thing at the right time. Plus, she's swedish, and that's a plus in my book.

IWilKikU is a funny guy, clever, and full of wit. He disguises himself as a student with a deep thirst for literature discussion, but he's really the head priest of a cult that worships Stephen King.

Shea, among a variety of things, is a good person. An individual who struggles to give the best of herself and inspires others to do so.

Subterranean is a radiohead fan, with an excellent taste in music and a sense of humour to be proud of. She has the ability to see through things and point out interesting and well thought ideas. I hope she'll return shortly.

Fayefayefaye is a bright girl, with a twist. She's capable of all sort of ideas, and usually, she layes them out at the same time. She's friendly and encourages deep talks. A fellow economist.

Atiguhya padma is a zealot atheist. He's passionate, at the extent of irritating others because of this. He's intelligent and well read. Originally, I thought he was a woman.

Koa is an easy-going person, and somewhat ethereal. She seems to be able to make interesting arguments and ramblings at the same time. I see her as a pretty gal with good music tastes and a talent for poetry, like many other italians before her.

Jonus is an honest man, with a broad taste in literature. Whenever he wants to, he can make great threads for discussion.

Crisaor is normally ashamed of doing this kind of things in public, but despite lacking the appropiate words, he means them.

crisaor; bright, unique, in search of yourself, but to young to find it.

I cannot get a picture of how Sindhu looks , when I try I always end up with a feeling like the scent of one of my favorite perfumes. Soft, flowery and ethereal and clear. It is a scent that lingers and makes me at peace. I picture her teaching in school being one of those teachers that makes literature a great adventure, and poetry into something that really can change lives.

The point here, however is, I can't find the smilies I want and I can't find enough of them! I need emoticons for blushing, embarassed, insanely delighted and vacantly griining in sheer bliss. Talk about being on cloud nine!

The elusive bit - I think in that way you mirror literature. Like there's so much, and the whole geometry and art of words, and where does one begin to define it all, or its source, really?
So, with you...well-
-oh help I'm stumped. I think you have a slightly grave passionate look when you discuss books, but often light up in pure joy when doing so as well. I think you must be one of the nicest people your friends/students know, because you choose your words with such care. I've no idea what you look like. A comment that struck me once: "The first thing people notice about you is your expression." I think your expressions are probably beautiful, in the deep water sense of the word "beautiful."

Ok, my turn- fayefaye- you listening faye? brash, spunky, spoiling for a fight, "you read THAT trash?"kind of snobbish, "you can keep your cultural relativism and levelling down"kind of independent, amazingly intelligent, sensitive, vulnerable and therefore prickly and therefore very appealing- one the headiest mixture of personalities I've ever encountered!:D
atighuya padma- I seem to be going against the flow here- I was sure from the first post of his I read that ap was a man:D New Man? Definitely! one of the reasons I would give for preventing the extinction of the species! incredibly erudite, he's awesome. Impressive, but intimidating too if you are at all diffident- I started rechecking my posts!;) does NOT suffer stupidity gladly and will pursue an argument tenaciously- he's perfectly willing to let the other side score if they have a point, but he is NOT going to let up if they are simply blethering:) very witty and humorous and surprisingly different in "general chat" as it were- an ability I really envy to put the most taxing of intellectual concepts so lucidly you wonder what your problem was!

Jay- one of the persons I'd most love to meet for a chat and tea (well, coffee for me actually, you can have tea if you prefer it, Jay!) almost intutively responsive to both literature and people, her sensitivity is one of her major strengths- capable of being totally crazy one minute and astoundingly serene the next.

subterranean- Ok she had me totally fooled- I was sure sub was male- I had to rethink my theories in a hurry when I realized she wasn't! bright, drily witty- positively sparkling at times- reeeeally good at this online business of getting across in a particular way.;)

Iwilkikyou - I think he and Imthefoolonthehill together have made laugh out loud more than anyone in "real" life, let alone online have done in months together now. Manages to say the most outrageous things and then when I'm picking myself off the floor, I realize he's slipped in something so effective and interesting I had better go and make a note of it pronto- a true original!

amuse? creative and a true artist with the one quality that artists too often lack- the ability to reach out and be INTERESTED as well as interesting. Another person who's a must on my "wish I could meet list"- I really would like to just sit and talk/listen- outspoken when needs be, adroitly light of touch when that is called for.

Munro- one of the most thought provking posters I've come across here- amazingly well read, analytical, responsive...

Isagel... this one is going to be tough for me, but I'll try- someone to whom literature "matters" (ofcourse in a way it matters to everyone here, or they wouldn't be here in the first place) but in my opinion, it matters to Isagel in a different, more central way...and she truly wants to share that... with a rare passion and zeal... which made discovering her THE discovery on the forums for me... she's also one of that very rare breed- a disciplined artist- plus she lets down her hair with the best of them, but retains a certain unique poise and clearness of perception...

OK, that's it. And :) :D ;) I HAD to put in a few smilies or burst! I suppose I should be grateful for the anonymity of the net, I would never have had the guts to do this in person!:) But even the online factor isn't enough- where's a I hope I haven't embarassed anyone emoticon when you need one?

Firstly, no I'm not red-haired though that idea made me smile :) It's funny! :) For the record, whoever said dark-almost-black hair was right, but I'm not small.
Oh and the snake-thing was funny too ;)

So now I should say something about the others...

I can't help imagining Lara as small and a bit round ad blonde with a huge smile and a loud laughter... just because this is the picture of a girl who was at school with me whose name is Lara :D

Crisaor is someone I got 'fascinated' by during the Cure thread :D He (...right?) seems smart (and I would have never thought he was South American before he said). I picture him as a mid-20s guy with loooooots of interests and always going around doing something never stopping...dunno why really :rolleyes:

Then I think I (we?) get influenced by the location of people, cos I can't help thinking of Sindhu as an Indian-cliché woman, in an Indian-cliché building and out of the window a crowded city and a river and cows...:rolleyes: like the pics of India I saw...

And AP- though I havent seen much of him cos I was busy lately- is to me the male version of Sindhu, just because of the name... ;) He looks witty and clever, I like how he gets his ideas across but I think he's the kind of person that might irritate me for being so right and so damn witty ;)

Isagel and Shea I imagine as too 'good', some kind of angelic people (so in my mind they're blonde and dressed in white...basically, they just miss the halo and the light around them!)...

Subterranean, damn I thought she was male! Actually I have not much of an idea of her, apart from the location-cliché I about...

A(z)muse seems to be the same enigma for a lot of people...I'm one of those who has troubles remembering she's female! And there are moments when I picture her as 'fat' (no offence...) I mean a big soft girl...and a very energic one! I'd give her the red hair instead, too ;)

Then...I must confess I get confused between Kik and fool! Young and always up for making a mess! (in a nice way, I mean like have some fun by making chaos out of everything, dunno how to explain...)

Oh and I was about to miss Faye, my divine sistah!!! I find it impressive how clear her idea and opinions are, I think I'll never be able to be so secure of my thoughts and such... I find her powerful, and I find it so good that she can make her points and everything so energically. Go, fighter ;)

In Subs very first post she said something about how Thom York is sooooo hot. I remembered that because her Avatar was the Radiohead monster-teddybear-looking-thingy. I guess I was the only one who remembered she was a she!
