I would take the door down for many reasons. I'm a mean mom and think doors are privileges. I’m not burdened with respect for my children’s privacy.

Yes I would...they are my children...and education comes in many forms...

Thanks, now I get it - taking the complete door out, not taking the hinges out so the door will fall on whomever tries to open it :)

And as I am not a mother (nor plan on being one) I have no idea ... I guess yes, if I really thought it would not be possible in normal vacations (which I really, really doubt to ever happen)
