Opera... my web browser of choice on laptops/phones/tablets
I prefer Mozilla- you probably have Apple devices and apps
quotidian, as in common place, and perhaps one who supplies a daily blight of quirkiness.
Devices in current use: HP Pavilion dv6 w/ Windows 10 Home (64 bit), Kindle Fire HD 7 (4th Generation) w/ OS 5 "Bellini",
and Samsung SM-G360V w/Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). I used Mozilla (Firefox and derivatives) back in the day; IE, Edge, and Chrome leave me lacking. I've used Opera prolly since v.5
Remembering academic times. Birthday of one of my oldest friends. He has Parkinson today.
So sorry about your friend re: Parkinson's.

Thanks
Thumper or Bumper? How did he adapt?
Grandson vacillates between Bumper and Thumper; I'll stay with Bumper... He's doing well, loves strawberries and carrots, and prolly will remain here. My granddaughter took a video of my wife in the car when my daughter told my wife they were going to go back and pick the bunny up, whereupon my wife broke down in tears and sobs of joy... too precious.

Amazon... received my order to replace a defective remote, put in my new batteries... does not work. Turns out my new batteries were defective/stale, not the remote (smacks head)... so now I have two remotes that work fine. No money out of pocket... had a rewards credit that covered the purchase.
Seems you gained in the bargain!
Busy Brasilian Goverment extinguished analogical TV in São Paulo. Now we have only digital TV transmission. No problem for me, but other people had to spend money to keep their TVīs working.
We went through that song a dance a few years ago. Our only solution, being in a valley, is satellite TV and satellite internet (two different carriers of course).
Sure wish I could bundle the above with my cell phones and house phone (still another carrier) - rather than pay ~$270 USD/month for the four services.
California born and currently residing.
TV is free (use only the open chanels, not the payd service packs) and internet+Wifi (PC, Tablet with Phone). House phone is an extra line. Paying per month about US$30,00.
Decidedly lucky!
eloquent... mostly.
fanciful?
grilled cheese sandwiches... love them
Me too, but have serious arguments with stomach over them!
hungry-tapioca pancake getting ready for breakfast
I'm turning in... It's after 5:37 am here; I can return to the realm of sleep.
Just starting to work (10:22)
Nice dreams!
knick-knacks... I hates them; a doggerel I sang to myself when I used to dust:
I hate knicky-knacks
I sorely hate to dust them
I hate knicky-knacks
I sorely hate to bust them
lol!
Love my knick-knack cats in the living room. They are supposed to bring luck.
Monday... my second favorite day of the week.
I like Monday too.
No buses, no sub, no train and no open banks today. The country is on partial strike. Partial strike IMO worse than no strike.
Good time for a holiday ?
Orderly... Not.
Not exactly.
Precise
Qwerty... often. I offer this word as a verb with the knowledge that not all keyboards are set up the same.
Interesting information!
Reasonable, hopefully not redundant
Sensibly Sanguine
Tonight overwhelmed with life's travails; trusting all gets better soon.
Tomorrow is another day.
Unkempt woods-love them

x-rated ? No. PG-13 is my limit... consequentially I don't see many movies unless they're cleaned up a lot through editing for general viewing on the TV. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion..._rating_system
Interesting!I knew that X-rated films related for example to pornography, but I didnīt know the classification system. Here is the Brazilian rating system:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazil..._Rating_System. Tried to compare both, but the US one doesnīt furnish much information about content.
Yesterday recollections-Went to the wake and burial of the father of one of my oldest friend today.
zymurgy... the second volume of my family's dictionary of my youth started with "pocket" and ended with "zymurgy". I guess the zyzzyva... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zyzzyva hadn't been recognized as a word yet by their editors, nor had Camp Soda/Soda Springs changed their name to Zzyzx, California yet (1944)... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zzyzx,_California.
Angst of the future
Hoping all will be well.
Beans two nights in a row for dinner made by my sister-in-law... home made chili con carne, then leftover chili con carne with some kind of bratwurst with apple? Tasty, albeit gassy.
