in a stout vessel sea tossed -
a hurricane blown in from
the horizon in double quick fashion

Autumn,
For some
Autumn
with its stern preparation of winter
is a season
of sorrow,
of remembering family history.
and the passing of members.
For others it is a time to rejoice
a season of respite,
of celebration of the harvest
of the riches of the soil.

Magisterial Beauty
Talismans in her possession -
an ouroboros bracelet in gold,
Möbius platinum earrings
with an extra twist to display
an infinity symbol befitting her
icy-blond waist-length hair, a
ring inset with ruby fashioned by
a distant bygone era færie king,
and lastly a necklace beaten
from otherworldly chondrules
into a serpentine chain string
that cascaded like a waterfall
over her silver brocade bodice
in starlight she shone
brighter than a jealous moon
in pure majesty

The dance of the planets
At midnight the solarium was effervescent
if not efflorescent.
The planets were holding their own party.
The sun displayed majesty and crown jewels.
Luna appeared resplendent in her silver dress.
A mesmerizing Venus appeared hand in hand
with Mars exibiting his war medals on his powerful chest.
Meanwhile Mercury tried out the dance floor in company of several young stars.
Genial Jupiter immersed himself in interminable arguments with Neptune about the rings of Saturn.
The latter had excused himself of the party,
being rather put out and grumpy because
in retrograde condition.
Uran announced the next revolution.
But Pluto who hadn't said a word hitherto
gave a sign to the musicians,
and everybody hit the floor,
weaven into the usual pattern
of the horoscope.

about circle
at an outdoor market
vendors plied their goods
flowers, crawdads -
like mini lobsters,
and vegetables, etc.
a modern day bazaar
usually I went for the
ambience: rich aromas
from food stalls,
diverse music, and
people watching - but
today I hit the lottery
... so to speak
in a booth of second hand
castoffs was a shoebox
of letters once bound
by thin rubber bands
first lured by the stamps
I found a letter sent
by myself in fact
many years prior to my
mother containing my
very first written poem
words I had forgotten -
a doggerel expounding
my newfound happiness
in a new home as close to
paradise, and another -
a letter by an ex which
brought me to tears -
of plans for a family
which never came to pass

Alice fell asleep in her room
before the open journal.
She suddenly saw herself
sitting in a beautiful garden
The air was scented
with a parfum of oranges
hanging profusely
from the trees
in several nuances of colors.
Birds off all kinds
provided the ambience music.
From affar one couldn´t sense
the silent smile of the Chester cat.
Alice woke up
as suddenly
as she had fallen asleep.
No, no humans in the garden,
neither angels.

Here am I
