Seems things are improving slowly, Bounty. Spritzer is learning to deal with Poof and Poof is taking her meals, where she should. I think it's good to observe them a while longer, until they are really used to each other. Petting both at the same time was a good idea, though not totally without risks.

they are out on the porch right now danik. spritzer on the rail and poof on the deck. a couple days ago there was a little fracas but I was able to intercept it before it escalated.

Wonderful Daffodil ranch!
What I best like of this story is how the custom is being kept up throughout several generations. I'm so used to things that starty well and then are abandoned.
