More Ranting (different subject however)

Ok, I have just returned from my local bar/restaurant where along with a couple of my friends we were celebrating the end of the days exams and taking advantage of the cheap food night.
After we were done the bill came to $65 (cdn), so we threw down $70, and proceeded to get on our coats to leave. It was at this point that our waitress returned and queried the size of tip we had left her (she was of the opinion she should have recieved more).
I disagree with tipping at the best of times (sure as hell no-one ever tips me for my work - I work in a hardware store part-time), however to come up to a group of customers and ask why you didnt get a bigger tip is imho the height of bad manners. We are quite obviously college students and have very little spare cash as it is, needless to say she managed to put a decent downer on what was to be a relaxing night.
Before we left we all emptied the pennies etc. out of our wallets and left a note for her telling her that we hoped she enjoyed spending it.

just seemed even if i hadn't time to say 'sup to everybody 'twixt homework breaks, it would be a hello of sorts - no wondering if someone's car had tried to kiss me yet again! (i did tell you guys about the one last week that accelerated towards me on a red light?)

in other random news, i spent saturday with a lively, gregarious, wonderful 4-yr old - my love's son, and his random thought of the day was "asha, you need a cage."

turns out he wanted me to get pet birds just like him! :p :D

Ye have very bad luck when it comes to carriages of the motor persuasion!~ :D

aye, cap'n, methinks the high seas and loose cannon are much safer for me disposition! :D

Just the thought of someone remarking that the creature as beautiful as a woman is,not to mention a giver of life with something so sleasy as the word CHICK needs to have their thick brick head opened up for reavaluation and branded,is this brain worth contradiction or even worth examining?

I do have to agree with you, 'chick' has some rather negative connotations.

I spent another hour with the guy I used to have a crush on and it felt like so good...and I'm wondering why it has to feel so good, I'm not "in love" anymore, but I can't help feeling so good with him most of the time... And I have to kinda remind myself that he's the one who didn't ever try to hear from me for the 5 months I was in Hungary, and never really asked me much about it, and doesn't really care, and behaved like a moron...etc. So Why, damn, Why? :mad;

Ahh... I haven't been sick in a long time that I forgot how sucky it feels. I keep sneezing and my nose is running and my eyes and tired and I really want to sleep. But I still have homework for my classes to do and a book to read and a video to watch. And for my own pleasure, I also want to watch Samurai Champloo. Then I have to go to work this weekend even though next week I'm going to have midterms on two subjects, both of which I'm not especially comfortable with.

Darn it, why is there so many things to do and so little time? How does Hermione live?

And goodness gracious, why have I been here so frequently lately? Need to stop wasting my time.

I asked him to marry me once, he said ' maybe later honey ' I only do it as a joke, his girlfriend is a waitress here so she knows that nothing I say is serious. But it is hard having to make sure not to wink at him or something.... it's justin good fun... your sweet for caring :)

So, I was watching T.V. yesterday, and it donned on me, that I should probably be studying, considering my finals are on monday... :eek2: :bawling:
