I hate how the free response part of my calc exam is asking me to make the equation I need to solve the problem..I suck at that.
letīs see the equation then
All right, here's my random thought of the day/equation(s)
consider the curve defined by the equation x^2cos(y)+ysin(2pi x)-x=-1
1)write the equation of the tangent line to the curve at the point (1, pi/2)
...I hate trying to write my own equations.
but all you gotta do is derive and substitute the values... what is the problem?
and... is it f(x) or f(y)?
It doesn't say. But I figured it out so it's all good. Thanks! I guess the wording just confused me when I first read it.
I would think so, but it didn't give it to me. It's the second part, and the first part was one where I had to derive a function by (I can't remember the term, but it's where you have an equation equal a number, in this case -1, and then you have to take the derivative of each separate part, include y' for the y's, then getting y' by itself).
oh ish... its too complicated to guess. i wish i could see the whole thing, this got me all sorts of confused.
:)
Haha, well it's the AP calc exam so they make sure to word it all difficult. Thanks for the help!
Random thought: Soooo don't want to go to school tomorrow..
Uh, oh, we're having a math debate on the thread :p
whoooooosh, and when i looked again, there was another flood of blah blah blah.
