Beaming platforms? As in "Beam me up, Scotty"? Heavens man, what a way to travel, spilling a man's molecules all over the place and hoping that they somehow come back together OK at the other bloody end, that kind of thing? Don't you realize that a transporter destroys the original and that the person that arrives at the other end, same memories, looks, whatever, is not the same person!? Why don't you ask Bones McCoy? :brow:

Don't you know this isn't star trek? Don't you think this reality differs greatly from the startrek universe, which is just filled with oldfashioned thinkers, who don't look anywhere but to their own rear end?

Didn't one of my confidantes inform me that your were drunk at the time? Wouldn't this knowledge cast doubt as to whether or not you have any actual insight into the nature of the platforms?

Don't you think my workhabits are exactly why they made me overseeer? Isn't it far more likely they just ignored anything I said, and whenever I helped out, needed days to repair the damage?
