i enjoy all of my books ,but i love to read poems that are written by Hafez
(an iranian poetic that is very very famus)
since farnoosh didn't ask anything I will answer Scher's question also.
I just went to the library and checked The Brief History of the Dead and it was a good, light summer read.
According to this book, you go to a city and continue to live there with all the other dead people as long as there is someone still in the living world who remembers you. If no one on earth is still alive to remember you, then you disappear from the city.
I don't want to say anymore in case anyone wants to read this. I don't want to spoil it.
What thing do you do to release your creativity?
Listen to music that coincides with the mood I'm trying to write in.
Same question!
Play guitar amilessly. Sooner or later I'm humming something, and fumbling for words. In short stories I always stop in the middle of a sentence, so that when I come back, I have to figure out what I was trying to say.
Same question, it's a winner! http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l1...ies/QWERTY.gif
I re-read my own work while listening to music.
what's your favorite poem?
Great question! Such a hard one to answer though...ouch...
I love so so many. "If" by Rudyard Kipling, Poe's "The Raven", right now I am in love with ee cumming's "since feeling is first"
since feeling is first
who pays any attention
to the syntax of things
will never wholly kiss you;
wholly to be a fool
while Spring is in the world
my blood approves,
and kisses are a far better fate
than wisdom
lady i swear by all flowers. Don't cry
--the best gesture of my brain is less than
your eyelids' flutter which says
we are for eachother: then
laugh, leaning back in my arms
for life's not a paragraph
And death i think is no parenthesis
