Hmm...I don't really have a specific goal that dominates my life, but I hold striving for education and standing up for my various beliefs very important.
What article of clothing holds the most sentimental value for you and why?

I have a very old very threadbare sweatshirt that I stole from my first boyfriend (the one that I posted about dying in a motorcycle accident). I treasure it because it is all I have (other than my somewhat tainted memories) to remember him by.... no pictures or anything else.
That's an interesting question, so I'll pass it along.
Well, I had a pair of really cool jeans that I embroidered a bumble bee on the right side pocket. I wore those jeans till they basically wore out, but couldn't find the capacity to toss them in the junk. Those jeans went through thick and thin with me (hmmmm ... they actually did, because my weight has fluctuated back and forth over the years), so yeah, that answers the question.
Good question, so I will pose it to the next poster...
An old Jerry Garcia T-shirt, threadbare and lots of holes in it..started out, more or less as a joke, years ago when I realized it had made a few concert trips to see the Grateful Dead with me, my roommate at that time was heading to a show without me and took the shirt, since then it has made more trips to the various shows with me and a couple of other friends...
it has retired now and hangs, in the back of my closet with lots of memories.
Interesting question, I'll pass it along also...
and here I thought I was the only one that hung on to old clothes that bring back memories...:D
An old white pineapple lace dress that was first my grandmother's, my Mother's, and now mine. I've only worn it twice but it's such a pretty dress with lots of history in it.
Why does it get so hot on days you have to concentrate on something intensely boring?
Because Nature is a Mother.
What magazines do you subscribe to?
None.
When you feel upset, what do you do usually to cheer yourself up?
One of two things...try a long walk or expensive coffee or both Really upset...start loading a backpack or canoe.
Since Quasimodo didn't ask a new question; I too' will answer Pensive's.
What do I do to cheer myself up when feeling blue? The answer should come as no surprise to anyone on this forum....... Loose myself in the pages of a book! Isn't escapism a wonderful thing!?!
If you could choose one LitNet Member to meet in person, who would it be?
I can only choose one? That is hardly fair - that's like making me choose my favorite pair of shoes. ok here goes: bibschernightbadvirgjay and I know I'm forgetting someone or at least a few.
Same question.
I am thinking I would like to meet some of the peeps from the other side of the pond.
I can't narrow it down to just one person.
Is there anyone on Lit Net that you absolutely don't want to meet? (a yes or no will suffice ;) )
Nope. There is no one on the LitNet that I do not want to meet. Did I say that right? I think so.
OK, back to the question before the last. Who from the LitNet do you want to meet? One person, mind. :)
Well, I'd have like to have met that Starrwriter person, they sounded so incredibly interesting and fun. I believe that they have been banned , but I still select Starrwriter (hope I spelled the name correctly). Note that there would be a helluva party if we LitNet'ers ever got together... Downright dangerous, methinks!
What song triggers emotional memories for you when you hear it?
several... first come to mind is "we go on" by billy gilman. i sang it to myself the day my bunny died. another is "have you forgotten". it's about 9-11 and the war in iraq. makes me tingle inside when i hear it.
next question... i'm going to be less depressing- what's the stupid joke you ever heard?
still acting stupid! question still up.
