Are all the movies you guys watch art films?
For me, mostly art films and horror.
Just watched Sling Blade for the umpteenth time. Definitely in my top 10. Brilliant film. 10/10
Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky.
Very strange movie. French with english subtitles, but the manuscript consisted of little speaking. I loved it, though. Instead of conversation to convey emotions, it used classical music. Powerful. But not altogether life-altering.
A play named, The Anti-Shakespearean Cocktail Hour.
The Lincoln Lawyer.
I must admit, this was a pretty good movie. I never read the book so I can't compare it, but it was nicely done.
Plus, Matthew Mcconaughey and Ryan Phillipe? Yes, please.
9/10.
Vicky Cristina Barcelona written and directed by Woody Allen, featuring Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and scarlett Johansson.
Sexy and fun piece, quite enjoyable, nice guitars. Worth watching yes.
The Exterminating Angel by Luis Bunuel. Fantastic.
:D No, no afraid not, two girls kiss though if that's any consolation?
I'm loving the Woody Allen stuff (just ordered another two and have four or five on the side I haven't seen yet). Thinking about watching another tonight, don't know yet though - I've fallen in love with a pick economics text book?!? I take it in the bath and everything. It's interesting though.
Recently watched Black Death - complete rubbish. It had no historical reference except to mention the battle of Crecy, witch hunting was going on before the actual time, and the story was naff. 1/10.
I'm good at picking films I am...
Currently watching Interiors, Woody Allen. I'm not impressed with this one so far, too gloomy and morbid. I'm going to put the computer down and watch it fully, give it a full chance, I can't do two things at once.
