Ahh... Do you need wi-fi though?
you mean with the iPod Touch? It's not just a mp4 player, it's actually a tiny computer running on Mac OSX. There's email, web browser, etc. And there are over 100,000 programs called iPhone Apps that can do unbelievable things when you get online. So yes, if you want all these features, you want wifi.
I want wi-fi...
That is a little invasive though, as cool as it is. I can imagine why my parents dislike the idea of it.
Invasive? how come?
I mean, my mum trust me with all this sort of stuff, because I'm a good girl. I'm thinking about all of the things I could get up to. As enjoyable as some of them are, there are others that are a tad dangerous. I wouldn't, but I'm thinking that many of my friends could... It is like posting your entire life online.
I see. But if you don't want to post your entire life online, then don't.
Yea, I guess. It is still an option though. Also, like how websites sell out your private details, that also bothers me. Does an Itouch run on the same spyware protection system as your computer?
iPod Touch is Mac. Macs don't need spyware protection, they are very secure and there are virtually no viruses. I did away with virus protection since 2005.
Cool... Still, it'll get hacked eventually. Like everything is. I don't know all that much about computers, only things for my own benfeit, like how to set up wi-fi.
Interesting... I might get one, maybe. I got a hpone for Christmas, so I'll leave it for my birthday. Might try for next Christmas. Of course, they may have created something better by then. I don't really want to live online anyway.
Macs are totally secure. I have NEVER met a Mac that's ever been hacked or brought down by a virus.
Even if you don't want to live online, you still need to be online to get in touch with your real life friends...unless they live in the same house with you.
Oh yea. I don't talk to my real life friends online. Then again, I have only very few real life friends that I'd really want to converse with all the time. That, and they won't join things like litnet, they'd rather myspace and faccebook, which I'm not on.
these days I consider talking the phone as being online, since it's on the same wire.... (or the lack of one)
Oh yea. I don't talk to my friends on the phone. I don't talk to my friends much in real life.
Yea, I like to watch from a distance.
same here :D
Hehe, consider me more into listening. I learn more.
