I have just viewed what may be the second known picture of Emily Dickinson and started checking out who and what the author/title of the 1950's book citing about the possibility of her being lesbian. I have checked a good many links and still have not been able to ascertain the books title/author. Does anyone have that info? I am a writer and researcher and usually can gather the needed info within a few hours but this one has me stumped! If Emily was gay it just adds to her unique charm and genius. I hope someone has what I am looking for. My curious mind just has to know so I can perhaps obtain the book. Thanks in advance, Kathie46

I have known about this site for a while and today I felt an urge to start weaving some of my thoughts and feelings into literature to share with others. I am not the most experienced when it comes to writing but I hope that exposure to an environment such as this one which is full of great resources and writers will be nothing but beneficial to myself.

I am a student taking introduction to American Liturature course. I really am having a hard time grasping some of the concepts of these writings. I am more into the fantasy reading when I do read which is not very often. I have very little extra time on my hands.
