I've lied about why I didn't want to go out with someone. But mostly have been rather straight forward about "dumping" someone. My standard "line" is 'this is just not working out 'or 'we have different goals' which is usually truthful and then I might suggest we can still be friends. But, I wouldn't be brutally honest and say for example, that they were lousy in bed, if that was the truth, I would cushion that for sure, unless things got nasty then all bets are off.

I have no enemies that I am aware of, but I'm sure there has to be someone that doesn't like me somewhere, but truthfully, I don't give it a lot of thought. I don't socialise with people I don't like and who annoy me. Life is too short. Though I am very peaceful and easy going person, if someone rubs me the wrong way, I can be confrontational.
