BTW, Miss Darcy. In a few weeks I'm going to see the NY Philharmonic celebrate Mozart's 250th birthday. They will play Symphonies 39, 40, and 41 (Jupiter).
Why would they do that?
(Sounds great, Virgil, even now I'm tearing myself off the computer to get ready to go to my own orchestra camp, where we'll be rehearsing Mozart's Symphony No. 35, the Haffner, also to celebrate his birthday. We're playing lots of Mozart this year for his anniversary, which is wonderful...:))
