Just reading your posts about teaching..and inspiring little kids to learn. Do you realise what a great gift enabling someone to read is? Especially kids that are dyslexic and have great problems learning? Let me tell you..its one of the greatest gifts you could give to someone. I know lots of adults that can't read and it affects every sphere of their lives, not only because they can't read, but because of the prejudices they come up against..because if you can't read you are thought to be naturally stupid - and it isn't the case. Even Einstein was dyslexic. Lots of men are violent because they learned to use their fists to earn respect because they can't read and have been 'done down' and insulted at school. Underneath they are lacking in confidence and are hurting - their 'toughness' is a front to hide it.
