Hesitant rays of sun (good night/ good morning)
Sunshine ! albeit intermittent. Placed my Shamrock plant http://homeguides.sfgate.com/grow-sh...ors-71264.html in a sunny spot near the telly... keeping my eye on Rosie (2 11/12's -year old kitty) that she doesn't predate upon it.
Lol! Tino used to think that all plants were cat treats.
I didnīt know the name in English. Shamrocks here grow wild in the gardens, fields or even in the streets
Union City... lived there for a short time: a Girl Scout cookie stand was held up recently... http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/02/0...-cover-losses/

In need of more help on my well/holding tank. I replaced a small galvanized pipe that developed a hole in it (having left a patch-fix on while the deluge of rain was occurring (3-weeks?)) - but now something is out of wack so that the water is spurious and sparse at best at my home and my daughter's home. We had our local expert (owns his own well repair business) come out for what we thought would be a 20 minute repair (adjusting the well cut-in pressure relative to the holding tank pressure [-2 psi] and still have problems after he spent 6-hours on the problem (new faucet and new pressure switch https://www.zoro.com/square-d-pressu...B&gclsrc=aw.ds . We're waiting for his return call...
Just researched what it was, here we have 4 or 5 city reservoirs which distribute the water.
Itīs Greek to me,but may be usefull

Excellent resource... saving and perusing. Well expert hasn't returned calls. Yesterday digging trenches looking for underground pipe leaks: 2-possible sources... 1-eliminated after many hours digging... on to the next, but more rain in the forecast for today which will make things problematical. Enough water to allow toilets to work but showers/baths: no.
katabothron... the source of the eliminated leak problem (above). So much rain lately erosion and increased artesian systems are driving me to distraction.
Oh, my! No other experts in the area that could be called?
Little sleep last night
Well expert dropped by and increased pressure... some improvement, still looking for leaks.
mattock and shovel tomorrow if rain not too severe.
Good news.
No knowledge whatever of mechanics.
Ongoing rain dampening my spirits... and socks.
Pumping pressure ok?
Pre-Carnival tension (more street blocks this weekend then on the actual date)
Only a quantulum of water coming through at my daughter's home; enough to flush toilets and slowly wash clothes / showers iffy... pressure moderate in my home; we're first after the holding tank (my daughter has no holding tank, although she has a humongous storage tank that is not set up yet ~ 1500 gallons (5678.118 liters) I think). Raining still: ground too wet to check for leaks (prolly for a while).
You will have to remake perhaps the whole connection?
Red eyes from the dry weather.
Hopefully not... many inches of rain today with high winds this evening.
spinach... I love it raw or cooked
Tea, tangerines, toast or tapioca. Turnips remain a total mystery
Ugh: turnips; also parsnips and pogonips.
Various hours of blackout last night(6)
We've been fortunate to have no blackouts with the multitudinous storms. Very wet and some landslides here and there without. Nearly out of dry wood to burn... plenty of wet-wet yet to split. When it wains it pours.
