same question?
No past makes me who I am today and even if Im not completely happy with that if I went back and changed it then would I still be me or someone else and would I care anymore??
Same Q
What's the question?
Eh, think I'll say no, since it's something about changing one's past. (Too lazy to switch pages...) I like my past, and though I have made a(n incidentally large) number of mistakes, I think I'll keep them because every mistake I have made has taught me something.
Very good question, erm, whatever it is, how about another repeat? :D
Ive already answered but here is the Q
Quote:
Would you consider going back in time to change your own past?
the two persons above me are online, this is really nice! :)
The question is so interesting. I ever wished I could turn back time, and definitely I would have been able to do something that could change the life of my self and my beloved one's. Well, I feel pretty good with my present situation -> so no more regret about the past now. There are many beautiful, unforeseen (un)interesting things ahead that I haven't explored and done yet.
Life itself is to me like a road, and I wanna go straigth ahead toward the end of that road. :)
Ask a question Rosevn please when you finish answering the above one. That what the thread is about.
Go back in time to change one's past and make it better, I think, is the dream of evry living human, with exeptions of course. We make mistakes, sometimes irreparable ones, and we would like to repare them. Going back in the past to do so will be a good idea. But don't you thing that won't affect our future or make no future at all. In this case we won't learn at all and we won't need each other. We always seek help and help each other to solve a past mistake and pass over our experience to one a nothe. Going back to the past will change the world and the way we deal with each other. Addaptation will be hard. I'm used to what I'm and I like my life as it is because it what I was that makes of me what I'm know. To make it better is now that I have to do it not in the past.
Let it go round a little again. Same Q
Would you consider going back in time to change your own past? Since I asked this orignal question that appears to have everyone in a time loop I shall answer it then ank another to see what happens. No I would not even dream of changing my past even though I was a vicitim of violence. What I went through has made me a much stronger person and I would not change who I am today for anything. Hope this will brake the chain. :)
Would you want to be a celebrity without being able to have any privacy?
No, never! Ever!
(100 posts, Ancestor, conga rats. :) Nice!)
Would you ask for more in Oliver Twist's place?
Thanks for your reminder :) :cool:Quote:

I also like your question thatIn case we want to change our past for a better present or future, so our present and future are surely affected or they are not the same as they are at present. So yes, as you said going back to the past will change the world and the way we are living right now. What passed already passed. If we have an unhappy past, just stand firmly facing it, we can become a stronger person as Ancestor by such unhappy/unlucky experience. And if we make mistakes in the past, lessons learnt afterward are worth, right?!Quote:

Like Ancestor, what I experienced have helped me a stronger person. I wanted to go back, mainly because of one of my loved one. Well I miss that great man, and I will miss him for the rest of my life :)
ANd here is my question: Would you believe in FATE? or would you think there is a fate set for every humanbeing?
No...I don't believe in predestination.I believe we create our own fate.Through personal decisions colliding with the events of the world we built our own history everyday.I think it's a mixture of genetic predispositions and environmental factors.I believe in scientific explanations for things and not in the supernatural or fate that is already created or known prior to the physical or mental process.
Would you clone your pet(as in a dog or cat)?
Note:The "clone" would be a carbon copy of little "spot" or "muffins" -genetically identical- but would be a blank canvas when it comes to considering environmental influences, meaning all of those memories and years you spent together with the original would cease to have any meaning with the " new spot or muffins ".The clone would be from scratch(though predisposed due to its genes-and these are still the predominate influences) and may develop surprising personality traits, as a result of changing homes or encountering new or disturbing people, style, climate, food or care ect and not be exactly like the previous pet who you decided to clone when he/she died.
PS:If you don't have a dog or cat you could probably consider cloning your favourite farm animal-pig,horse or sheep, so reply with your answer if you have one of these instead...
wouldnt be any point as you could just get a new one and have a change because it would most probably turn out similar.
if you were say a prime minister of some ex-superpower and were asked by, lets say the president of the major superpower who keeps you in the UN because you do what its government says would you risk the lives of your people?(obviously a completely hypothetical question with no link to current affairs :p)
Sory for you. That what live is made of. Knoledge based on pain and suffering. That will bring me to your question about fate. Yes I believe in it as part of our existance.Quote:

Yes...as long as the request was not too extravagant.I think if it was in desperation then I would definitely ask for help.If I was starving or dehydrated or dying in the middle of the desert or the Antartic then I would search around till I came across a stranger who might be so kind as to help me...at least till I could survive by myself. And I think if they were sincere and truely a good person, then they would at least attempt to help me and then send me on my way with the necessary goods.
Would you leave(even if your family or some of your friends didn't) your home, possessions and town if there was a warning or prediction of a natural disaster in the near future?
.....or would you stay?
It depends on how the warning and prediction can be true. For the part of the world I'm living in, there is no such disasters, thanks to God. But I'm not such a fool to know I'm going to die and wait for it. I'll cling ti life like my family and my frinds, and all human beings, will do. Home is created by people. So better leave it and beggin from 0 than vanish with it forever.
Would you accept some hurting comments, but true, made by somebody not close to you about your privet life or react unfrindly?
Depends on how hurting the comments are and to who they're being told to... I mean if they're telling it to someone that i really dislike and who's always minding other people's business then yes, i would be really unfriendly. ;)... my turn:
-Would you stand next to an errupting volcano (in a protective suit of course) just to see what inside the volcano looks like with lava coming out of it?
