While we are on the subject of disgusting habits of our "pets", might I point out that at least cats are only attracted to other cats, and not, for example, something that doesn't even vaguely resemble a female of its species? :rolleyes:
Is not this a pointless discussion since cats obviously will never step down from their position as haughtiest animal?
But dogs, in spite of their ablity to keep their posterior as clean as any cats, are humble, aren't they?

Could one not say that people project attitudes and emotions on pets sometimes? Are not cats simply of a different temperment as dogs?
Did you know my cat Sweet Jane is very un-haughty and will drool all over me in her happiness to be patted, much like my dog Dillon? :)
